Glossary of Terms about Balls Stretching

  • Anal Web: The skin webbing on the back side of the scrotum, best visible with a fully relaxed and free hanging scrotal sack. This is the corresponding skin web to the penoscrotal skin web on the front of the scrotal sack which extends from the base of the penis to the front of the scrotum.
  • Ball Boat ©: A watertight plastic cup or glass that was selected on the basis of comfort. The cup or glass is attached to the scrotal sack. The purpose is so that the scrotal sack does not come in contact with toilet walls or toilet water.
  • Ball-Forcer ©: Secretleather’s unique stretching system utilizing steel rods which hold two WMC weights at pre-cut lengths apart. This stretching system uses both the gravity of the WMC weights as well as the length stretching provided by the steel rods. Read more about the system in the “Product Review” section of this web guide.
  • Ball Glove ©: A moisture barrier which seals the length of the scrotal hang inside a moisture barrier. This bathes the scrotal sack in shea lotion/butter the entire day. The barrier provides two benefits: 1. Maximal exposure to the benefical effects of the shea moisturizer resulting in increased skin elasticity which directly benefits progress and ultimately the user’s end goal. 2. Provides a low relaxed scrotal hang. Scrotal bathing uses this moisture barrier to maintain constant beneficial effects of shea lotion and is used to help keep tight scrotal hangs forced in the relaxed and lowest hanging phase of scrotal hang. Men who have difficulty with tight scrotal tensions should investigate the use of this method. Use this method every 2 or 3 days, increasing until a loose scrotal hang is achieved..
  • Ball Sack: This is a short hand term for Scrotal Sack. Note the spelling is “Sack” and not “Sac”. The author uses this term because it is easier to type, is visually stimulating, and the author believes the scrotal skin does not deserve to be called a “Sac”, because spiders and other bugs have sacs for breathing, so certainly a human scrotal skin should be used at the higher level and spelled according to its function. The spelling used in this article and all conversation is “Sack”.
  • Ball Stretcher/ing: 1; (noun) this is a person who is ball-stretching. 2. (Verb) this is also the act of using any of the four defined stretching methods as described in the “Four Methods of Ball-Stretching” chapter. This includes manual stretching, stretching using items such as ponytailers, stretching with leather stretchers, and stretching with metal weights. These methods can be combined in any way together to tailor the stretching feeling for each individual.
  • Barrier Bag ©: A moisture barrier providing the same benefits as a Ball Glove (listed above). The difference is that the Barrier Bag is made from a plastic sandwich bag and is very cost effective. See Ball Glove above for benefits. .
  • Bulge: This is the apparent pushing of the genital package which is transferred to pushing out the pant or shorts material. This is obvious in regular fitting dress/casual pants or shorts. This is the “distortion” of a larger than normal genital package as viewed from the front while wearing clothing. See the discussion above under the “Clothing” chapter….tips to make the apparent bulge as small as possible while wearing a set of weights or series of small leather stretchers put together.
  • Central Line: This is the place where the two halves of the body (including the scrotum) have joined together while being formed within the womb. This is often a very sensitive and highly stimulating place on the scrotal sack. The act of ball stretching stretches this central line (highly stimulating) across a larger area, making the scrotal sack very sensitive.
  • Cocoa Butter/Lotion: A lotion or butter that helps to prevent stretch marks in the pregnant women’s market. It is also useful in ball stretching as a lubricant under the ball weights. The author now suggests the use of Shea butter lotion/butter for lubrication as well as additional stretching and relaxation of the scrotal sack. Cocoa butter helps the skin to stretch, but Shea butter is preferred. Cocoa butter is available in liquid or solid form. The solid butter melts on contact with with warm scrotal skin and is absorbed throughout the day.
  • Collar: See “Metal Stretcher”.
  • Compressed Testicle: This condition is both acute or chronic. The acute situation appears when the secondary testicle is squeezed so tightly (mostly from wearing too much weight). The warning sign is dull ache from the compressed secondary testicle. Upon examination of the scrotal hang, the lowest weight will appear to sit almost half way down on the secondary testicle while remaining on top of the primary testicle. This means the testicle is slowly squeezed by weight pressure until it pops through the center column of the weights as an escaped testicle. The chronic situation appears when there has been an increasing number of secondary testicle escapes. This is because the testicle has been squeezed so long that it is actually a smaller physical size while under weight stress. The resolution of this condition is abstaining from weights for 15-30 days. This will allow the testicle to regain hydration and repair damages. As the testicle was squeezed, lymph fluid and other body fluids have been completely squeezed out of the testicle which leaves a solid mass of tissue without hydration. Chronic wear of ball weights arranged in the “Funnel Effect” leads to a chronic compressed testicle situation. The author recommends alternating between smaller and larger weight for use in the bottom position of the weights.
  • Dartos Muscle: The term used to identify the smooth muscle layer within the lining of the scrotal sack. This involuntary muscle contracts and relaxes the scrotal skin. It reacts to stress, emotional distress and temperature. Ideally, the best scrotal sack stretching is done with a fully relaxed scrotal sack (dartos muscle). Since this is an involuntary muscle, we must take steps to pre-empt the contraction of this muscle for the best stretching results. Read more in the “My Testicles Slip Out” chapter, starting in the 5th paragraph.
  • Dominant Testicle or Primary Testicle: The lowest hanging and largest testicle. 80% of men have a larger and lower hanging left testicle. 20 % of men have a lower and larger hanging right testicle. The higher hanging smaller testicle is the Secondary Testicle. .
  • Gear: This is a slang term for stretching equipment such as leather stretchers or metal weights.
  • Half Flush: A method used by those with low hanging testicles so that when they sit on the toilet the testicles do not hang into the water. This process of the half-flush lowers the water level in the bowl to the top of the escape hole. The process is simple; just push the flush lever down slowly until you hear the water start to trickle into the toilet bowl. Stop immediately. Hold still or lift ever so slightly higher. Water will fill the bowl and then flush. When the bowl flushes, immediately let go of the flush handle. Now, the water level has stabilized at the bottom of bowl.
  • Hair Trail: The slight trail that a hair follicle leaves in the scrotal skin as the skin is stretched and expanded. The trails are invisible in relaxed phase of scrotal tension, and are only visible in half-tight or tight scrotal tensions.
  • Hang: This refers to the length of scrotal skin between the groin (measured at the intersection of the inner thigh with the top of the ball sack) and the top of the testicles. The intersection of the thigh is also the “bottom” of the body so this placement of measurement is a good one.
  • Hernia: This is the condition when the abdominal contents have been pushed through a tear in the abdominal wall. The result is a weakened abdominal wall and higher risk for it tearing again. A hernia pinches the intestinal tract and does not allow internal contents to continue to move through the tract in the action of parastolsis.. This is the squeezing and relaxing of individual muscle bundle (sphincters) wrapped around the entire digestional tract. This orchestrated contraction/relaxation of muscle sphincters pump the abdominal contents in one direction for absorption of nutrients in the intestines.
  • Leather Stretcher: This is a stretching gear that holds a stretch at the same length as the stretcher. It is made of leather and is usually 1", 1.5", 2" 3" 4" 5" but they can also be found in any size length. If the desired length cannot be found, a leather stretcher dealer can be located online (keyword- leather stretcher) or two highly recommended dealers at secretleather.com or 665leather.com. These leather dealers will be able to make a custom size for a very reasonable price. 665Leather is in California and Secretleather is in London.
  • Leisure Time Weights: These are the weights temporarily added to the hang in addition to the permanent weights. Leisure time weights are usually added while in the comfort of the home and are removed before the next work period to minimize the crotch bulge of the added leisure time weight.
  • Low Hanging: Any pair of loose hanging testicles that extend past the tip of the flaccid penis. This is also the definition of “rantallion”.
  • Metal Stretcher: Also known as a Collar, Metal Collar, Steel Collar, Split Collar, Weight, or Metal Weight. This is in loosest terms a ball-stretching weight that is placed around the top of the testicles and worn there with the purpose of lengthening the scrotal hang or for the pleasures of having something making the testicles hang. They are made by slicing a stainless steel shaft into smaller lengths as desired (such as ½ “ 1”, 1 ½ “ or 2” etc…) and then polished. The edges are rounded to prevent them from cutting the skin. There are two different kinds of metal stretchers. They are the older traditional style (standard weight) and the WMC™ style. The older traditional ball weights have rounded edges; however, these rounded edges are still sharp enough to cause pressure point pain after longer periods of exposure to the metal stretcher. The WMC™ style uses a circular surgical high grade steel rod that is shaped in the form of a circle. It is then highly polished and seamless. This weight is technologically advanced in its design and firmly hugs the contour of the scrotal sack and distributes any weight along all surfaces of the weight. This makes the weight load tolerable 24/7 for many days or even an indefinite time. This weight is essential for those who use a permanent set of metal weights.
  • Neoprene: A toxic rubbery material out of which many ball stretchers are made. They are good for short term sexual excitement but should not be used as a 24/7 or longer term stretching device. In this case, a leather stretcher is preferred.
  • New Ringmaster™: A patented weight that is extremely comfortable and works great as a spacer weight between two WMC™ weights. The corners are completely round and makes this weight very comfortable compared to the standard older style ball weights.
  • Package: A term used to describe the whole genital makeup of testicles and penis put together.
  • Parachute Stretcher: This looks like a lampshade, with the upper ring held around the top of the balls and three weight chains in three different even places on the lower circle. Weights can be attached to the three weight chains. Many heavy lifting men (5 or more pounds) use this method. This stretcher is typically made out of leather.
  • Penoscrotal Web: The connective skin web that extends from the base of the penis to the front of the scrotal hang. For most guys, this skin web needs some extra stretching since the scrotal sack will often pull up as the penis is in an erect upwards position. Stretching exercise No. 6 was designed to stretch this skin web.
  • Permanent Weights: Metal weights that are constantly attached to the scrotal hang over weeks and months. Typically the length of permanent hangs can’t exceed 3 inches without displaying a bulge. 2 ½ inches is optimal.
  • Pressure Circle/Ring/Point: This is the irritated skin that is compressed when a leather stretcher is wrapped around the scrotal hang and applies pressure to the groin area. This pressure circle is where blood circulation was stopped. A pressure circle also occurs when traditional style metal weights are worn. The inside corners of the weight restrict blood and nerve flow. The use of WMC weights in either the bottom lowest position of the weight placement, or the highest place on the scrotal hang. In either position, the pressure circle will no longer occur.
  • Primary Testicle: The lowest hanging and largest testicle on a man. 80% of the male population have a primary left testicle and a secondary right testicle—meaning a lower and larger left testicle, a higher and smaller right testicle. 20% of men have a lower hanging and larger right testicle.
  • Pumping: The act of placing the genitals (penis only, scrotal sack only, or both) into a vacuum tube and pumping the air out of the tube which forces a swelling and expands the size of the genitals temporarily. It may have beneficial stretching potential. The author has no experience with this activity.
  • Rantallion: Any man with a pair of loose hanging testicles that hang lower than the tip of his flaccid penis. This is also the definition of “Low Hanging”.
  • Saline Injection: The injection of saline into the scrotal sack to make it appear larger. This lasts only temporarily, but may have some stretching benefit. The author has no experience with this activity.
  • Sack: See “Ball Sack”.
  • Scrotal Bathing: A technique used to help promote the lowest hanging completely relaxed phase of scrotal tension, the most comfortable phase of scrotal tension. This technique uses the Ball Barrier or Ball Glove methods. See Ball Barrier or Ball Glove.
  • Scrotal Hang: 1. The distance from the intersection of the inner thigh and the top of the scrotal sack to the bottom portion of the loose hanging testicles. 2. This may also describe the scrotum and internal structures as whole complete unit.
  • Scrotal Length: This refers to the length of the scrotal hang from the intersection of the inner thigh and the top of the ball sack downward to the bottom of the testicles. Notice that “Length” refers to measurement including the balls and “Hang” refers to measurement to the top of the balls only. See also “Hang Length” or “Sack Length”.
  • Scrotal Sack: A more precise term than “Scrotal Hang”, but it describes the same thing. This refers to the scrotum and internal structures as a whole.
  • Secondary Testicle: The higher hanging and smaller testicle in the scrotal sack. 80% of men have a higher and smaller right testicle, and 20% of men have a higher and smaller left testicle.
  • Shea Butter/Lotion: The best butter/lotion for use on the scrotal sack. This ointment relaxes the muscles within the lining of the scrotal sack as well as providing lubrication between the scrotal surface and the surface of the leather stretcher or metal weight. The lotion is available from manufacturers such as Palmers™ or Jergens™. Secretleather.com makes a triple combination of shea butter, shea oil and cocoa butter in a secret but effective concentration of each ingredient. This butter melts on the surface of the scrotal sack immediately, and is absorbed into the skin. The cocoa butter ingredient assures maximum lubrication for comfortable wear through the entire day.
  • Skin Web: Any portion of skin that forms a web like appearance when the scrotal sack is hanging loose and low and it’s attachment to the groin forms a web. Specifically, it addresses the skin web that is formed between the upper formation of the ball sack and the base of the penis. This web is stretched in the author’s skin stretching exercise No. 6. The penoscrotal skin web extends from the base of the penis to the front of the scrotal hang. The anal web is the smaller skin web on the back side of the scrotal hang.
  • Shaft Collar: This is a split collar that is meant to hold an industrial steel shaft in place. This collar is meant for an industrial application but many users have used this as a metal stretcher. The corners are sharp and can cause pain quickly unless they are filed down to a rounded shape. These collars are considerably less expensive than dedicated steel weights. However the user will have to hone the corners down him-self in order to make the weight useful on the scrotal hang.
  • Shea: This is a lotion or butter form of the oil from the shea nut. It relaxes the scrotal skin as it is absorbed into the skin. This oil also makes the skin more elastic and more available to the stretching stimulus. Secretleather sells a triple combination of ingredients in a home made recipe that gives excellent results and pure ingredients. Shea lotions are less pure, but they still relax the scrotal sack and make it more available to the stretching stimulus.
  • Split Collar, Steel Collar, Steel Weight: See “Metal Stretcher”.
  • Standard Weight: A ball weight with the standard specifications. This weight is made by cutting a metallic shaft into pieces into standard lengths such as ½ inch, 1 inch, 1 ½ inch, or 2 inches. The sharp corners are then rounded off so they are not sharp. Although the corners are rounded, they can still cause pressure points after prolonged wear. The interior of the weight (composition of the original metallic shaft) can be solid brass, stainless steel, or surgical steel. Brass weights are plated with chrome to avoid direct contact with the brass. When the chrome wears away, brass is exposed and the weight should not be used.
  • Stretch: 1. (noun) see “Scrotal Hang”. 2. (Verb) this is the intentional pulling of the scrotal hang in opposite directions.
  • Tightness Multiplier: A decimal point number that is used to determine how tight the WMC or other metal ball weights should be. The reason for a tightness multiplier is that the ball sack measurement is the actual measure of the central diameter inside the metal ball weight. An additional thickness, measured from the center of the ball weight to the edge of the metal weight must be accounted for. This tightness multiplier will determine the actual diameter that the scrotal hang comes into contact with…not the center of the metal weight but rather the edge of the inside weight. Please see the chapter regarding “Measuring for a Steel Weight”.
  • Upper (or top) formation of the ball sack: This is the position that the sack and the groin join together as seen completely around the top of the ball sack. This is the most common point for pressure points to occur with tight leather stretchers.
  • Weighted Stretcher: Typically a leather stretcher available in various lengths that have lead pellet pouches around the outside of the stretcher. This acts as a weight as well as a stretching mechanism.
  • WMC™: Secretleather’s patented most comfortable, most technologically advanced high precision weight. It hugs the contours of the scrotal sack in perfect comfort. Use this weight for the best and fastest results. It should be a requirement for every ball stretcher’s wardrobe. They are only available from secretleather.com. WMC™= “World’s Most Comfortable"©.

Cock and ball torture

Cock and ball torture (CBT) is any BDSM activity which inflicts pain or discomfort on a man’s penis or testicles. These include:
  • Hitting, punching, kneeing, cropping, or flogging,
  • Gripping,
  • Squeezing and crushing,
  • Twisting,
  • Piercing,
  • Slapping,
  • Clamping,
  • Pinching,
  • Electro play,
  • Sensation play and temperature play,
  • Imprisoning in a cock cage, and
  • Binding or mummification.
Most of these can cause varying levels of pain or discomfort, and because a man’s genitals, and particularly the testicles, are often quite sensitive and delicate, you should always start slow and build up, rather than just grab and give a mighty twist and expect this to be good for everyone involved.
Figure 1. A penis in a plastic cock cage. Note how the assembly is held in place by the locked ring around the base of the penis between the testicles and the body

Cages

One of the common devices used in CBT is the cock cage. An example is shown in figure 1. These generally enclose the complete length of the penis. Once locked in place, these are set-and-forget devices which a dominant can leave on her submissive for extended periods, even for days. They include a hole in the end so the submissive can still urinate, but their shape causes extreme discomfort if the submissive begins to have an erection, and the fact that the shaft of the penis is completely enclosed means that any sexual pleasure available to the submissive is very limited until such time as they are released.

A variation on the cock cage theme is the Kali’s teeth-type cage as shown in figure 2. These have sharp spikes on the inside. The spikes aren’t generally a problem while the submissive’s penis is limp or flaccid, but they begin to painfully bite in when the submissive has an erection. These cages often don’t extend the length of the penis and so they allow for sadistic play where the dominant might stroke or caress the submissive’s penis, but when the submissive responds they experience intense pain from the spikes of the cage as their penis swells.
Figure 2. Kali’s teeth, a lockable ring with spikes on the inside which is attached around a man’s penis. When the penis swells during an erection, the spikes dig in

Impact play

The penis and testicles are generally sensitive creatures and can easily be harmed or permanently damaged. Impact play, where you hit, flog, or cane the penis or testicles, is possible, but it generally must be done carefully.

When you do practice impact play on a penis or testicles, use short, light canes or floggers. A single chopstick can also be good (hold the thin end), as can a short cord, or a shoe lace. Start with lighter implements, rather than with something heavy. The lighter it is, the less chance there is of causing harm.

Slapping can be very effective, particularly when the male submissive has their legs wide apart while bending over or kneeling, and their penis and testicles are dangling down. Don’t slap too hard as this can be intensely painful.

Ball busting

On the other hand, ball busting can be extreme CBT, both visually and in terms of pain. It involves kicking, punching, kneeing, or crushing the testicles.
Figure 3. While commonly used for clamping nipples, these clamps can also be used to pinch the loose skin around the testicles (the scrotum)

Squeezing

Gripping a submissive’s testicles and squeezing can be a very good way to control them. They’re not going anywhere while you have that grip. You can squeeze testicles in a couple of ways:
  1. Simply crush them, or
  2. Rub the testes (balls) together inside the scrotum.
Both of these create different sorts of discomfort or pain.

While you’ve got a good grip, you can also pull on the submissive’s testicles, such as by pulling down on them if they’re bending over or kneeling, or by pulling them forward, away from the body, when the submissive is standing or lying down.

If you’re not male and you’re doing this to your submissive, be gentle to start with. As mentioned at the beginning of this article, the penis and testicles are quite sensitive and can easily be damaged if you’re too rough.

Ball crusher

A ball crusher is a device which pretty much does what it says on the box: it crushes testicles. Typical ball crushers have a screw adjustment which allows the degree of crushing to be controlled. Ball crushers come in many types, from simple ones which just consist of two flat pieces of plastic or wood, with bolts and wing nuts, between which the testicles are crushed, to more sophisticated devices made out of machined stainless steel.

Clamping and weights

Another way to inflict pain on testicles is by using clamps. These can be the tweezer-type clamps we see in figure 3, the alligator-type clamps we see in figure 4, other nipple clamps, clothes pegs, or binder clamps from a stationery store. Clamps are best attached to the scrotum, which is the loose skin bag containing the testicles.

As with any other part of the body, clamps should not be left on for too long as they restrict the flow of blood to the part of the body they are attached to.

When a submissive is bound, another form of torture can be attaching weights to the clamps. These can enhance the pain or discomfort each time the submissive moves, or can gradually build up the pain over time simply from the downward pulling. Some dominants who use weights will also either pull on the weights themselves, or swing them back and forth to add a “personal touch”.

Note that there will be extra pain when you remove the clamps.

Bondage and tying

The penis is not a good object for bondage (except, perhaps, during mummification) because it tends to be floppy for much of the time and any rope around it just falls off. On the other hand, tying rope, a leather strap, or chains around the base of the penis, between the testicles and the body, can be a very effective form of restraint. To do this, first pull down firmly on the testicles. While still pulling down, put the rope, leather strap, or chains in place. Finally, release the testicles.

Tied properly, the testicles won’t be able to slip through the rope, strap, or chains and the submissive will be very effectively held. If they are already bound, such as to a St. Andrews Cross, weights can be attached to this CBT bondage, pulling down, perhaps painfully, on their testicles.

Tying testicles tends to make the skin taught and sensitive. When this is the case, you can additionally consider doing some sensation play, wax play, waxing to remove hair from the testicles, or carefully using something like a Wartenberg wheel all for additional pain or discomfort.

If you do wish to try and bind the shaft of the penis, cloth bandages, leather straps, or mummification can be effective. One reason to bind the penis itself is that if done while the penis is limp or flaccid, the binding then prevents the submissive getting an erection. This can be useful as a source of sexual frustration.
Figure 4. Alligator clamps which you find at a hardware or electronic store. It’s a good idea to file their teeth flat or wrap the teeth in tape after you buy them
Figure 5. A penis connected to a T.E.N.S. unit so that it can be pulsed with electricity

Electric play

Another popular way to torture a poor, little penis is through the use of electricity. Figure 5 shows a penis wired up to connect to a T.E.N.S. unit. A T.E.N.S. unit is a device that delivers pulses of electricity to a part of the body to stimulate muscles. As a penis doesn’t have muscles, the effect is simply the pulsing shock, which can be varied by the T.E.N.S. unit to be anywhere from barely noticeable through to intense.

In the figure we can see that one of the wires is connected around the base of the penis shaft and the other is connected to the head of the penis, confining the shocks solely to the shaft of the penis itself.

Another very painful electric option is to use a radio-controlled dog collar. These are normally used in training dogs and have a remote control to administer an electric shock to the dog via the collar when you push a button on the control. The collars have two probes which normally touch the skin on the neck of the dog. However, with a little effort, the collars can be attached to your submissive with the probes in contact with their testicles or penis. One advantage of these collars is that you can administer a shock to your submissive at any time, such as when they are least expecting it. Don’t push the button while they are doing something delicate, like adding salt, pepper, or spices to the evening meal!

A violet wand can also be effective. While these are most commonly used with gas-filled bulbs or probes plugged into the the hand pieces, if you don’t use these bulbs or probes and instead create sparks directly from the generator/transformer itself, especially when this is turned up high, then these sparks can be quite painful. Delivering these sparks to the penis (particularly the tip) or the testicles directly can be an excellent and often much safer form of torture than cutting or piercing with a comparable amount of pain.

Sensation play and temperature play

We should also mention sensation play or temperature play as they apply to CBT.

One common, and “exciting” CBT technique is to use spicy massage oils or mentholated muscle ointment on the penis or testicles. Something like the justly famous Tiger Balm is very effective, more so if you place a tiny amount on the tip of the penis so that a little seeps into the opening of the urethra. These all create heat or even burning sensations. Sometimes the submissive will dance because of the pain and discomfort which will, eventually, wear off.

Spicy oils and mentholated ointments have a down side, and that is that they can’t simply be turned off. Once applied, they start to work and can’t be stopped. It is strongly advisable that you first try these on a new submissive with just a tiny smear of oil or ointment and see how that goes before completely coating your submissive’s penis and testicles.

Alternatively, many tops and dominants like applying ice cubes to both species of genitals (male and female) and certainly it’s the case that taking a warm pair of testicles and dipping them in ice water or rubbing ice on them is going to be torture. Ice-cold knife blades or other metal implements can also be used.

Piercing

Piercing a man’s penis with hypodermic needle tips, such as those shown in figure 6, can have a powerful psychological effect on a submissive male. It can be scary, and it symbolically hands over control of the penis to the dominant who is doing the piercing.
Once needles are in place, they can be used as part of bondage, such as by attaching string or cord to these needles, and then using this string or cord to bind the penis to an object or simply as part of a more complex tie.

Bleeding

The testicles, and particularly the penis, are well-supplied with blood. When a man’s penis is erect, two sections of spongy tissue running the length of the shaft fill with blood at considerable pressure. Particularly when piercing a man’s penis, there is a strong likelihood of bleeding.

The Humbler

Figure 7 shows a device called The Humbler. It consists of two pieces of lacquered wood which are held together by clamps. Either one or both pieces has a groove on the inside. It is used on a male submissive who is either bending over or who is on their knees.

The dominant grabs hold of the submissive’s testicles, pulls them down and away from the body, and then clamps the two pieces of The Humbler together, as shown, with the now-extended flesh between the submissive’s testicles and their body in the groove between the two pieces.

How it works is that the extended “wings” of The Humbler press against the thighs of the submissive. If they try to straighten up or stand, their testicles are pulled down painfully by The Humbler. It effectively keeps the submissive bent over (hence “humble”) while still allowing them to crawl or even walk (while stooped over).

The Humbler can be left on for longer periods because as long as the submissive doesn’t try to straighten up, there’s usually no strain or tension, and no problem with blood flow.
Figure 7. The Humbler
Figure 8. Ball stretcher. This particular model is locked in place using a hexagonal Allen key

Testicle cuffs and ball stretchers

In the same vein as handcuffs and leg cuffs, a testicle cuff attaches around the base of the scrotum between the testicles and the body. When closed, the testicles can’t pass through the hole and so the male submissive can’t remove the cuff until it’s opened.

Many testicle cuffs have D-rings which allow a chain or leash to be attached to the cuff so the submissive can either be attached to an anchor point, such as a wall fixture, or lead around. Perhaps ideally, testicle cuffs should be equipped with a keyed lock or some sort or small padlock.

Ball stretchers, such as that shown in figure 8, work in the same way as testicle cuffs in that they attach around the base of the scrotum between the body and the testicles, but their intent is to stretch the ligaments attached to the testicles so the scrotum becomes larger and the testicles can hang down lower. As the male submissive is “trained”, longer and longer stretchers are worn.

Testicle cuffs and ball stretchers can be made out of stainless steel, plastic, or leather straps.

Notes:
  • Larger padlocks can also be used as testicle cuffs.
  • Weights can be attached to ball stretchers to accelerate the effect, or they can be attached to testicle cuffs for torture.

More extreme CBT

Elastration (or banding)

Warning: High-risk activity!

Elastration is usually a veterinary procedure for castrating animals. It involves pulling down on the scrotum and testicles and, using a special pair of pliers, placing a tight elastic band around the base of the scrotum. It cuts off blood circulation to the scrotum and testicles and, if left in place, these bits of the body die and eventually drop off. Figure 9 shows the pliers and a container of bands.

When done in BDSM, the band is only left in place for a short period of time. Longer periods can lead to nerve damage or necrosis (skin or organ death) which is, of course, the original veterinary intent of this procedure. BDSM practitioners usually monitor the colour and feel of the testicles frequently, and have one or more reliable ways of removing the band quickly.

Banding can also be done to the penis itself. The internal structure of the penis is quite susceptible to damage due to lack of muscles, ligaments, and so on to give it strength, and some practitioners will not perform penis banding unless the penis is partially erect to offset this.

Urethral play

Warning: High-risk activity!

Urethral play typically involves inserting a medical sound into the urethra of the submissive, entering through the tip of their penis. This is best performed by someone with medical training, such as a doctor or nurse, as there is a high risk of infection (such as bladder infection) and high risk of physical damage to internal organs and membranes if performed incorrectly.
Figure 9. Veterinary elastration rings and pliers

What makes CBT a powerful experience

Control and penetration are often the main elements of CBT because the penis and testicles are, of course, strongly associated with a man’s sexuality. When the dominant takes control of these and either hurts or restrains them, control over the male submissive’s ability to express himself sexually is taken from him. This is particularly the case with cages.

However, in any CBT activity it is the case that the dominant does take active control over their submissive’s genitals and they are no longer at the submissive’s own disposition. If nothing else, during the course of the scene it is entirely and solely up to the dominant what happens with the penis and testicles, whether they are used or not, whether they are hurt or not.

Some styles of CBT can also give a pleasurable feeling of confinement or restraint, particular with devices such as cock cages, testicle cuffs, and ball stretchers, and with activities such as mummification or bondage.

Risks

There are a number of risks involved in CBT.

Firstly, strong impact, squeezing, or crushing can rupture the testicles. This will require urgent medical attention.

Secondly, any play which involves restricting blood circulation can lead to nerve damage and loss of sensitivity.

Thirdly, nerve damage, or damage to the two spongy bladders in the penis which cause an erection, can prevent or limit erections.

CBT

Also known in personal ads and internet profiles as cock and ball torture.

Hanky code

Teal (blueish-green)

What is CBT?

CBT means prolonged stimulation of the genitals and can involve:
  • flicking, squeezing, teasing and stroking (to orgasm or not)
  • kicking, punching or hitting (aka ballbusting) with hands, canes, paddles or any blunt instrument
  • stimulation with electricity
  • genital bondage/coverage (for example with clingfilm)
  • shaving
  • sensations (for example use of temperature with hot wax, Vicks, Deep Heat, ice cubes; also applying clothes pegs, rubbing with sandpaper etc)
  • hanging weights from the genitals
  • wearing metal, rope, rubber or leather devices that divide and separate cock and balls.

What’s the attraction?

Most men’s sexual sensation is centred on the dick. With the area so sensitive to touch, there’s a blurred line between pleasure and pain. During intense stimulation pleasure hormones (endorphins) are released that are also natural euphoria-causing pain killers.
The dick is a powerful symbol of masculinity and sexuality but an extremely vulnerable part of the body. So during cock and ball play the excitement that comes from feeling abused, punished or controlled is heightened. Both men are playing with the power, trust and erotic thrill involved when one man allows his genitals to be handled. Being tied up and/or blindfolded makes this effect even stronger.

Genital Bondage

This area of “restraint” is so essentially a matter not only of individual choice but perfect fit - it is often better left to the ingenuity of the do-it-yourself enthusiast to make up equipment - if only in prototype. The wide range of “Toys” available from shops and by mail-order either fit or they don’t. Adjustability is not a feature of most items.

Genital Bondage falls into three basic categories: Self-stimulation, prevention of masturbation and enforced chastity. Many aspects of these three are better covered in the NOTES ON CHASTITY BELTS. This sheet aims to focus on different ways of actually wrapping or restraining the male sexual organ as an erotic experience.

SAFETY FACTORS

The usual note about safe and sane ‘bondage’ applies even more seriously to genital bondage. Interrupted blood circulation can very quickly cause serious permanent damage. Even temporary, superficial skin abrasion on the sexual organs can lead to loss of pleasure if nothing more, and inhibit activities for a considerable time. Particularly when genitals are covered while in 'bondage’, careful monitoring is essential.

COCKRINGS

The mere presence of a single band around the base of cock and behind the scrotum can act as a powerful erotic stimulus. To many men it is part of everyday life. A cockring can be worn continuously without causing any serious damage or discomfort if not too tight. Choice of material, degree of weight or tightness is usually a matter of choice - or an act of submission. Many more complicated pieces of genital bondage equipment such as sheaths and 'Gates of Hell’ are usually anchored onto a C.R. Therefore two different types of ring should be considered first.

NON-ADJUSTABLE RINGS

A simple ring of metal, rubber, leather or chain is an inexpensive and effective stimulator. Even the act of getting a cockring into position behind the scrotum can be a stimulus in its own right - making it a pleasurable or painful undertaking. Whether the testicles are put through the ring before the penis or vice versa depends on personal preference and practicality. The minimum size of a solid ring is determined by the possibility of passing one testicle through. First-time users may find the process difficult, but it is safer to start with a ring too large rather than too small. What is enjoyably snug one minute can become excruciatingly (and dangerously) tight seconds later. Veins are very close to the surface and it’s easy to interrupt the blood-flow. Even so, the C.R. is a popular and widely used device.

ADJUSTABLE COCKRINGS

These allow for a tighter circle when in position because they can be smaller than the diameter of one testicle. Again, tightness for any length of time is a matter of personal capacity. Adjustment may take several forms depending on the material.
Four very simple and inexpensive alternatives are:

Short chain, lightweight and rust resistant, perhaps closed with a miniature padlock allows for a snug fit and a little extra consciousness of weight.

“Jubilee Clip” from an ordinary hardware store is an adjustable circle of metal strip which can be screwed smaller with a screwdriver. Psychologically very exciting. This would be an ideal device if it wasn’t so easy for the screwdriver to slip as it’s being tightened/untightened. Also, raw edges of the metal have to be smoothed before use. A very short screwdriver is advisable.

Disposable plastic 'ties’ sold in garden supply shops have a loop in one end and when the other end is threaded through and tightened it will not loosen again - and must be cut off. The “Flexicuff” used by several Police Forces are Big Brothers to this versatile little item. A packet of them in various sizes is a useful addition to any Toy’ cupboard.

Leather Thong or boot lace has a special appeal for people 'into’ leather. Either knotted or plaited around it has a very different feel to metal or rubber. If you were a Boy Scout or Girl Guide you already know the complexities of a 'Turks Head’ knot. Fun to put on, and complicated to tighten - but a unique device. Pubic hair may create problems - but then again, it may not.

LOCKABLE COCKRINGS

When closed these must be small enough to prevent one testicle being pushed through. Several styles are illustrated. If a screw-lock is used, pinching must be avoided when being closed. If locked with a padlock, general movement may cause pinching due to the looseness of the padlock hasp. A piece of adhesive tape can eliminate this. A nut-and-bolt is an inexpensive alternative, but is only 'locked’ if it’s a “tamper-proof” bolt-head or other more extreme measures are used.

Ordinary padlock with a hasp approximately 2.75 inches wide will usually lock-around as a heavyweight cockring. Positioned under the scrotum this is a 'Heavy Trip’ particularly when worn under street clothes in public places. Care should be taken to monitor the effect for short periods before the wearer is left alone without access to the key. The same idea is safer if a smaller size padlock is used, locked around the top of the ball-sack only.

Bull-Rings are special hinged rings and make an interesting alternative. Designed for piercing through the nostrils of a heavy animal to attach a lead-chain, they can be closed around the cock-and-balls. A small screw is then tightened and its head broken off. They’re still removable because the broken screw reveals a screw-slot - but the effect is good. Unfortunately they come in only relatively large sizes, so can usually be slipped off. Two other problems are 1) The sharp edge designed for piercing is dangerously sharp (and no-one should be tempted to try piercing with it!)… and 2) The hinge when open reveals two sharp corners which can cut as the ring is closed. Bull-rings are a tempting idea but should only be used with caution.

SCROTUM RINGS: ADD MORE

OTHER CONFIGURATIONS

There are so many alternative forms of Genital Bondage 'Toys’ manufactured in leather, rubber or neoprene. The effects of different configurations these produce can also be achieved with a piece of leather thong or soft cord, so they can be tried-out before a manufactured item is bought.
The original Information Sheet went on to describe various configurations - but so many manufacturers now have well illustrated web site, there is no point in duplicating effort.

COMBINED RINGS

Usually linked by short leather straps, any number of configurations are possible.

“Arab Strap”: Cockring with a second smaller ring around the base of the penis only is used traditionally as an aid to sustaining an erection. Whether the second ring is linked to the C.R. by one strap or two it is a popular piece of basic equipment. If the lower sides of the two rings are linked by a short strap or chain tightly between the testicles it not only becomes a “Ball Separator” but can be impossible to slip out of.

“Gates of Hell”: Traditionally implies a Cockring joined to three / six smaller rings along the penis. The diameter of these rings depends on whether the aim is to sustain an erection or prevent it.

“Stallion Guard”: The real thing is designed to prevent a stud horse servicing a mare. A Gates of Hell can serve the same purpose - particularly if the rings are linked by other straps along the length of the penis. If the last ring is smaller than the others this makes full erection painful, if not impossible. Only when the first ring is linked to the C.R. under the balls is this device fully effective and un-removable without access to the key.

Leather strap versions of the above joined by rivets and either buckles or “Locking Posts” make attractive alternatives to metal.

PENIS SHEATHS

Used to encase, restrict, hold up or down - the main problem is in the rapid changes in sizes during any Scene. Whether lockable or strapable a sheath should be as soft as possible to be really effective. Open ended or closed they can be the basis of many different games and situations.

Small rings attached to the ends of sheaths can be very useful, but if the sheath is then constricted inside other clothes rings and miniature buckles can cause havoc.

Internal prickers and external studs are a matter of personal choice (for either the wearer or buyer). These can add considerably to the physical and visual drama of the situation. Those sheaths which are supposed to encase both cock and balls are particularly difficult to get a snug fit.

Rigid sheaths or even bent sheaths can have their places in the wide variety of alternatives.

PRICKERS

If made of metal, these should not be sharp enough to draw blood. If used in penis sheath or ball toys, remember that the skin is very thin. Skin damage is caused quickly and takes a long time to heal. The alternative is a rubber pad with nodules of rubber which when pressed onto a sensitive area can feel like metal pins. The rounded ends of rivets assembled on a leather pad can also have their uses.

BALL STRETCHERS

Sometimes referred to as 'Trainers’, it does seem that the ball-sack does grow or stretch gradually as these devices are used. Attachments for weights, lead chains, etc. are a matter of personal choice and needs. To circle the top of the sack with a strap is less dangerous than around the cockring line. This is how many FETTERS Chastity Devices are anchored.
The Parachute Harness is a particularly popular toy (with or without internal prickers) as an anchor for weights.

BALL SEPARATORS

Several popular genital toys divide the ball sack. These can be used as an alternative to, or in conjunction with, Ball Stretchers.

BALL BAGS

As with sheaths, these either fit or they don’t. Well tailored they can have an interesting visual effect - and under wrapping of cord or thong can act as a protector to sensitive skin.

STOMACH PLATES, TRIANGLES AND “MEAT TENDERISERS”

A range of plates through which the cock, or cock and balls can be threaded and anchored. Fixed at the waist and perhaps under the crotch to back of waist these can be the basis of many alternative designs. If large and heavy with studs or cones they are a symbolic threat when worn by a sexual partner.

A stomach plate when very small, and with an attached cover, becomes an efficient device known as the “Rat Trap” but it should perhaps be called the “Clam Shell” because once cock and balls are sandwiched inside, there’s no way they’ll come out without access to the key.

The strap or chain used to fix any stomach plate into position must circle the waist above the hip bones if it’s meant not to be slid off. The links from the plate to the waist need not be particularly tight if a ball-sack strap is incorporated because this will prevent removal.

COVERS AND CAGES

A variety of differently shaped and sized covers can be used to encase the genitals. They usually hinge from the base upwards unless a flattening effect is desired. An interesting alternative to solid metal or leather covers can be cages made from strips of leather, metal strap or wire. These can have extraordinary visual impact as well as physical results.

CONDOMS, LATEX COVERS AND SHEATHS

A general range of 'novelty’ condoms can be incorporated to suit personal tastes. Heavier black 'rubbers’ are made but are often difficult to obtain.

Several thin latex sheaths and combined sheath/ball sacks are advertised. With thicker latex, if the size is right, the effect is excellent. Particularly if a ball-bag is included they can be quite a performance to get into - and it’s not something somebody else can do for you - without a struggle!

Drainage tubes are built into some models on the market and can be useful.

A Ball Balloon is a lockable latex sphere approximately three inches in diameter when not stretched. Getting one into place and everything crushed into it can be quite an undertaking - often requiring tying a string around the testicles to stop them disappearing during the process. Talc or lubricant sometimes helps - pubic hair is usually a hindrance!

PIERCING

'Genital Bondage’ involving rings pierced through the skin is a whole different subject already well covered in the specialist catalogues for piercing “jewellery”.

Extreme examples of heavier metalwork being pierced into the genital area are not to everybody’s taste - but are extremely effective
Expand notes on (and illustrate)

SHAVING, DEE RINGS OR VELCRO for strap fastening, ELECTRONIC DETERRANTS OR ALARM SYSTEMS

HEAVY RUBBER & LATEX TOYS

In this range from our Amsterdam supplier of rubber, various penile straps and latex pants are illustrated in the main catalogue. The latex Bondage Balloon (HR48 in Price List) still defies illustration. You have to try cramming everything into a three inch diameter circular bag through a two inch hole and tighten the strap to feel the effect. What’s more it’s virtually impossible for somebody to do it for you - you have to do it for yourself. The latex sheaths (with or without drainage tubes) are equally difficult to get on first time - but you soon discover the knack.

CBT

One would be forgiven after looking at the title for assuming that this was an article on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy but for those in the world of BDSM it means something totally different.

Cock and ball torture is one of the most common areas of BDSM and even though for most men just the mere thought of it would have them crossing their legs for others just a hint of genital pain and they have a full erection.

For some submissives it’s solely the pain factor. The thought of pain coursing through their nether regions will excite them, for others it’s more the psychological aspect of being ‘owned’. Having a Master inflicting pain on them purely just because they can and it brings them pleasure.

CBT obviously carries risks and it is for that reason that it is best administered by someone that is very experienced and a safe word put in place and respected. The person inflicting the torture must also be prepared to place certain limits regardless of the safe word.

Self-administering may not be as satisfying as having someone else do it or at the very last giving instructions, but can still bring immense pleasure to those who are so inclined.

ALWAYS air on the side of safety when practising CBT, you are after all playing with your/your Master’s favourite toy! You wouldn’t want to do yourself any permanent mischief. The biggest concern with CBT is circulation. It’s essential to keep a close eye out for symptoms such as a loss in sensation, swelling or a loss of colour. Common injuries as a result of CBT include abrasions, bruises and small cuts. In time these will heal, but it is a good idea to treat with an ice pack to reduce the swelling and apply some antiseptic cream to cuts to avoid infection.
Before we move along to the fun stuff please bare these safety tips in mind!

Don’t

Leave clamps on for long periods of time
Leave CBT devices/weights on for prolonged periods or through the night
Tie the balls to anything. A sudden knee-jerk reaction could result in serious damage
Bind the penis/scrotum too tightly – you don’t want to cut off circulation
Insert anything into the urethra without adequate lubrication
Squeeze the penis too hard, it could damage the erectile tissue
Use sharp, hard hits
Let go of weights suddenly, lower them down gradually and gently

Do

Trim pubic hair for a clear view and to avoid snagging
Alleviate pressure every 20-30 minutes to restore circulation fully
Avoid genital bindings that cannot be easily untied/removed
Keep ‘quick release’ tools, such as EMT scissors and cock ring cutters, handy
Be gentle with piercings
Stop immediately if you notice a loss of sensation, swelling, numbness or loss of colour
Discuss boundaries and a safe word beforehand
Go slowly, gradually increasing intensity and monitoring reactions
Stop immediately if the pain starts to spread to other areas
Avoid any practices that seriously wrench or twist the genitals

So what items are commonly used in DIY CBT?

Basic items that can be found around the home include

  • Wax – Drip the wax along the shaft and if the recipient is really brave over the head of the cock. Alternating heat and ice is a very effective way of increasing the intensity of both.
  • Ice – Used alone or with the wax, placing the balls or the whole cock into a bowl of ice.
  • Pegs – Placed on the ball sack and along the shaft. Rough wanking could then be used to flick the pegs off the shaft. Then can be pulled off the balls by either opening them or not. The advantage of not opening them is the loss of pubic hair.
  • Toothbrush and paste – Used to scrub the head of the cock. Lovely minty freshness!
  • Cotton buds – Used with toothpaste or depending on the recipient’s limits heat cream and gently put a little way into the urethra. Caution must be used doing this!
  • Heat cream – See above, can also be used to heat up the balls.
  • Elastic bands – Wrap around the shaft, slip a little finger under and ping it. Can also be used around the top of the balls to pull them down. Do not leave it on for too long though.
  • Thin rope – Tied around the shaft or the balls.
  • Shoe – Used as a weight tied around the balls.
  • Wooden spoon – to beat it with of course
  • Crocodile clips – Used in the same way as pegs with more of a bite. Never pull these off of the ball sack though because you will rip the delicate skin.
  • Pot scourer – The type that is a ring to place over the shaft and wank, squeezing nice and tight.
  • Sandpaper – Again for wanking, be careful as blood can be drawn easily.

More advanced items include

  • Parachute with weights – The parachute is often studded, wrapped around the balls and then weights added making the studs dig in.
  • Electrics – Small pads placed on the cock and/or balls and a small electrical current administered, the intensity increased up to the limit of the recipient.
  • Sounds rods – Used to increase the size of the urethra, not something to be done without a lot of research. Can be pleasurable or erotically painful.
  • In a dungeon setting the man would normally be strapped to a bondage chair, his legs wide open and his cock and balls exposed for the Master to consensually abuse.
  • In a home setting a normal chair can be used or the recipient could just sit with his legs open or even stand up. What items are used will depend on the individuals and what they have available and the level they wish to take it.

CBT – Cock and Ball Torture Part 1 / Part 2

CBT – Cock and Ball Torture Part 1

“As a sadist, I can say without equivocation, there is nothing in the world I find more beautiful than the look of pain on a man’s face as my hand is crushing his balls.”

The external genitalia are the most sensitive part of any man’s body; they are also among his most “private” parts. To manhandle another man’s cock and balls is to take possession of the essence of him, to threaten those parts with pain and torture is to threaten his core. The old saying, “when you have him by the short and curlies, his heart and mind will follow” has a great deal of truth.

As a college student in the early 60s, I read JFK’s favourite author, Ian Fleming, and found in Casino Royale one of the best descriptions of male genitorture ever, though in keeping with the mores of the day, no exact mention of the genitals is ever made. Naturally, Fleming could not let his hero’s “heart and mind” follow.

Instead James Bond stoically endures, until a third party kills his torturer and he is sequestered in a private clinic, where a doctor tells him, “Your own injuries are serious, but your life is not in danger… If all goes well, you will recover completely and none of the functions of your body will be impaired… But I fear that you will continue to be in pain for several days…”

ANATOMY

In external appearance, the male genitalia are composed of two main structures: the penis and the scrotum. As the anatomical structures relate to sensations of pain and to techniques of play, I divide them somewhat differently.

Skin covers all parts of the male genitals. Except for the cockhead, or glans, this skin is rather loosely attached to the underlying structure and is quite elastic. The more this skin is stretched, the more sensitive it becomes, as nerve endings are forced closer to the surface. Thus, the skin is more sensitive on an erect penis than on a flaccid one.

The skin of the scotal sac is thicker than that of the penis shaft, but it is also capable of great stretching, and also becomes even more sensitive when stretched.

The skin of the cockhead is very thin, tightly attached to the underlying tissues, and is extremely sensitive. For BDSM play, it should not even be thought of as skin, but as an integral part of the cockhead.

A double thickness of skin extends from just behind the corona to cover the glans. This foreskin, due to some rather incomprehensible religious tenets among Jews, Muslims, and some other cultures, and due to some idiotic notions of hygiene that probably have more to do with puritanical feelings regarding sex among some Christians, has been cut away from many males in a process termed circumcision.
As a sadist, I regret this loss as, with a cut victim, I no longer have a foreskin to torture. And the cockhead on an uncut man is infinitely more sensitive than that on a circumcised man. But I make do with what is provided. In most uncircumcised men, the foreskin retracts behind the corona when the cock is erect. In some, it is long enough to cover the cockhead even when erect.

For our purposes, the penis can be considered to consist of four components: first, the skin, as discussed above; second, a pair of spongy tissue reservoirs called the corpora cavernosa. These run the length of the penis, beginning under the pubic bone well inside the body contour, and extend to the base of the glans. These are the main hydraulic system of the penis. When these are empty, the penis is soft and flaccid. When filled with blood, this causes the cock to grow longer and more rigid.

Cocks come in a great range of shapes and sizes. One basic difference, which you rarely see discussed in any of our literature, is that between what are often called “blood cocks” and “meat cocks”. Blood cocks are quite small when flaccid and expand greatly as the corpora cavernosa fill with blood. Meat cocks remain relatively large even when flaccid and generally do not change length greatly when they become hard.

Naturally, there is a full range of variation between these two extremes. For an example of a meat cock, look at any model in Honcho, Advocate Men, or even Drummer. Those equipped with blood cocks rarely want them photographed, and most publishers wouldn’t be interested anyway. For a good example of a blood cock, look at Michelangelo’s David or nearly any other piece of Greek or Roman sculpture. I know of no studies done on this anatomical difference.

From my own limited research, I’d say that both types of cocks have the potential to be equally large when erect. But “meat” sure as hell has the advantage in basket making. Also, it is virtually impossible for someone with a blood cock to have a cockring, or any other form of cock and ball bondage, that will be compatible with both flaccid and erect stages. I think there is probably an ethnic basis to the type of cock, with bloods being predominant in the Mediterranean. This is a subject on which I would love to do research.

But I digress.

The third important component is the cockhead or penis glans. This is the tip of the penis, the portion covered, or which should be covered, by the foreskin. It consists primarily of spongy tissue, the corpus spongiosum, which is also erectile. However, the relative size change here is nowhere as radical as with the corpora in the penile shaft. The external surface of the glans is covered with a very thin, and a very sensitive skin, as was discussed above. The ridge at the base of the glans is the corona, and it is the most sensitive part of the cockhead in most men. At the base of the tip of the glans is the urinary meatus, the opening from the urethra.

The urethra is the fourth component of the penis. It is the duct that empties both urine and semen to the exterior. It runs along the underside of the shaft, surrounded by a tube of the same corpus spongiosum that makes up the body of the glans. The rest of the penis consists of blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue holding all of these parts together.

The main contents of the scrotal sac are the testicles. These are a pair of bean shaped capsules of glandular tissue. The outer covering of each teste is a very tough fibrous capsule. The interior is a soft glandular material in which sperm are produced. They are very well equipped with pressure sensing nerves, nerves which interpret pressure on the balls, any squeezing or pressing or striking, as extreme pain.

If you feel each testicle carefully, you will be able to detect a much softer, fleshy ridge along one side of each ball, extending up to form a lump on the top of each testicle. This is the epididymis and consists primarily of the tubules that drain sperm from the testicle. The epididymis is also somewhat sensitive to pressure, though not nearly as much as the testicle itself.

Each testicle hangs at the end of a spermatic cord. This attaches next to the epididymis at the top of each testicle and includes the vas deferens, a continuation of this duct, as well as blood vessels and nerves supplying the testes. The spermatic cord is largely dense, elastic connective tissue that draws the testes up close to the body as a response to cold or fear and suspends them well away from the body when warm. Normal human body temperature is high enough to kill developing sperm, which is why a system has evolved to keep these little production centers hanging a good distance from the body.

The vas deferens enters the body above the pubic bone and joins ducts draining the bladder of urine and those of other small glands that contribute components of the seminal fluid to form the urethra. This duct passes through the middle of the prostate and thence to the penis. The prostate is also higly susceptible to pressure and other stimulations, but these are, in most men, registered as very highly erotic sensations rather than as pain.

EMASCULATION

The “fate worse than death” for a man, supposedly, is to rob him of his masculinity. In Western culture the anatomical definition of a man is his set of genitals. Castration, the removal of the testicles – with or without the scrotum – and emasculation, the removal of both penis and scrotum, are the ultimate punishments.

Though safe, SANE, consensual BDSM does not allow for castration or emasculation in practice, this is a common fantasy. Threats of removal or permanent damage to the genitals can be important components of a BDSM scene. Shaving of the pubic hair, and of hair on the genitals themselves, is regarded by many as the first stage of this emasculation. Thus, many into Master/slave roles keep the slave shaved as a badge of his status as “less than a man”.

There is one castration technique that can be used over and over again, as long as you you DON’T go TOO far.

The Elastrator is a brand name for one of several commercial castration devices used on lambs, calves and other farm animals. This is a tool that stretches a tiny rubber donut so that it can be slipped over the animal’s scrotum. With the tool removed and the band in place at the base (top) of the scrotum, the band pinches both nerves and blood vessels. Without blood circulation, the scrotum and testicles die, blacken and eventually drop off. The pinched nerves keep this a relatively painless operation.

An Elastrator can be used on a human male as well, but this procedure must be closely supervised or done by an experienced Top who knows the dangers of this procedure. If the Elastrator is left on long enough, it would have the same result as it does with the other animals. How long is long enough? I don’t know. It takes several weeks for an animal’s scrotum to actually drop off.

However, the onset of tissue damage due to loss of blood flow is considerably faster. How long before tissue damage starts in a man? Again, I don’t know. I know of no cases where an Elastrator band has been left on long enough to cause damage. Ten to fifteen minutes is the longest I have ever left one on, but for safety’s sake, you should not leave the band on for more than 7 minutes.

In addition to the headtrip of having his balls in a real castration device, the Elastrator ring can cause interesting physical sensations. Cat-claw-scissors are the safest way to remove the rubber band when the time is up. As the ring is cut, blood begins to flow again and pressure on the nerves is released. Men I have clamped have described the first sensation as similar to what they would have imagined actual castration with a knife would feel like. There is a sudden sharp sensation of release, then a feeling of the blood gushing away from the body.

This is followed by a reawakening of the nerves. You have all had a foot “go to sleep” and are familiar with the “pins and needles” prickling sensation as it reawakens. That is precisely the feeling in the scrotum as it reawakens following removal of the Elastrator band.
Another technique that achieves similar results is the punishment horse. This is, typically, a sharp edged rail that the man being punished is forced to sit astride, with hands bound behind him so he cannot relieve the pressure of his body weight pressing against the thin edge running between his legs. The rail is always elevated sufficiently that his legs just dangle and, again, have nothing against which to relieve the pressure in his crotch. Sometimes sandbags or other weights are tied to his legs to increase the pressure.
In the late 18th century this was a common punishment, with a soldier sentenced to spend hours on the horse for some infraction. In addition to the basic discomfort of the bondage position, the sharp edge in the crotch again pinches nerves to the genitals. When removed from the horse, the victim experiences sensations similar to those described above. Since this technique does not restrict blood flow, it is not as potentially dangerous. However, if the pinched nerve should be damaged, regeneration is a very slow process.

GENITAL BONDAGE

A cock ring is basic genital bondage. From there, we can move on to a huge variety of cock and ball harnesses, sheaths, stretchers, separators, pouches, etc., available in leather toy shops. Many of these can also be created with rope, chain, thong, string, saran wrap, tape, elastic bandages, strips of cloth, etc. Whatever the bondage medium, or the precise design, the bondage serves one or more various objectives:

CONFINEMENT can be a primary objective of genital bondage. That is, to confine the genitals, either for sensation of enclosure, for the restriction of access, or for both. The restriction may be to prevent masturbation, prevent an erection, or in other ways serve as a chastity device.

Techniques for this range from the infibulation of Roman slaves, the literal pinning shut of the foreskin over the glans, to highly sophisicated padlocking leather and steel chastity garments from the Fetters catalogue. Or they could be other items designed for that purpose.

ATTACHMENT can be another reason for genital bondage. To attach the cock and/or balls to something else. This may be to a Master’s hand via a leash, to an immovable object, or to a torture device such as a weight.

A cockball stocks is a small, usually wooden, stock similar to that used by the Puritans for ankles or heads and hands. This one is sized to accept cock and balls, or balls alone, and usually comes equipped with numerous rings so that it may be tied in place.

A similar result may be achieved by putting a man facing a chain link fence or similar grating. Pass his cock and balls alone through the fence and then securely lock on a collar, tie with rope, or somehow make it impossible for the cock and balls to be withdrawn. With no further bondage, this provides wild sensations of being trapped (note: this procedure should only be done under the close supervision of an experienced Top). He can flail his arms, beat at the fence, kick it, move in every way possible EXCEPT pull his hips away from the fence.

Unfortunately, such bondage is quite dangerous. If he faints, or falls for other reasons, his genitals could be severely damaged. Any genital bondage that pits the body weight against genital ties must be either constantly and closely monitored by an experienced Top who knows what he’s doing, or must be planned so that other bindings will hold the body weight, and not transfer this totally to the bound genitals. Once again, this procedure should only be done under the supervision of an experienced Top.

TORMENT in and of itself, is the third possible objective of genital bondage. This is when the bondage is itself pain producing. Usually this is caused by stretching and/or squeezing various genital components, usually with the objective of putting painful pressure on the testicles.

Various cock and ball devices, or various techniques at cord bondage that achieve the same purposes, include:

• wrapping the cock ring area to pull both the cock and scrotum away from the body
• wrapping the neck of the scrotum to pull the testicles down or out and away from the cock and body
• wrapping the scrotum in such a way that the two testicles are pulled away from each other.

These individually, or in various combinations, put pressure on testicles, stretch the skin, increasing its sensitivity, and put a pulling sensation on the spermatic cord.

The variant that achieves similar results is, instead of wrapping in bondage to stretch and separate, wrapping to push together and crush. Thus, the cock and balls together, or the scrotum by itself, may be mummified in saran wrap and tape, or in elastic bandages. I have also read of an American Indian torture that involved soaking a piece of rawhide and then sewing it up tightly to encase a victim’s scrotum [this procedure should only be done by an experienced Top, or supervised by an experienced Top to avoid potential injury.] As it dries, it shrinks, increasing pressure. I’m going to have to try this some day. I’ve also wondered about wrapping the scrotum in something like a small blood pressure cuff, and then inflating, but have not tried this.

Release from bondage can also be painful, partially from the reawakening of pinched nerves, partially from the physical movements. One of my favourites is the windmill – I wrap a cock and/or scrotum with repeated wraps of a single strand, taking care to layer things on so that when I am done, I can pull on the free end and the cord will rapidly unwind, sending the bound member flying round and around as it does.

One final pain producer from bondage is that engendered by tiny teeth, blunt studs, or other objects trapped between the skin and the binding [Again, this procedure should be done under an experienced Top’s guidance.] These might be sharp, but very short, teeth embedded in the leather, or could be a handful of gravel added under the elastic bandages around a scrotum.

SURFACE SENSATIONS

Torturing the skin covering the genital organs is quite different from torturing the organs per se. Many of the usual types of genitorture are tortures of this skin: abrasion, light whipping, clothespins and other small clamps, ice, hot wax, Vicks/Ben Gay/Tiger Balm/etc., and most temporary piercings. This skin is highly vascular and rich in nerve endings.

Feathers, soft-bristled brushes or other similar devices can provide stimulation to these nerve endings without abrading the skin. To get a bit heavier, abrasion is a very useful technique on the extremely sensitive skin of the glans, and on other genital skin when it is stretched and held immobile by bondage. Use emery boards or other disposable abrasives so that body fluids are not transferred.
Chemicals such as Vick’s Vapor Rub, Ben Gay, Mentholatum, Icy Hot, Tiger Balm, and the like, can provide similar sensations, often lasting a lot longer. An oft cited frat hazing technique is to apply such ointment to the pledge’s genitals, pack them up in a jock strap, then send him off to his classes to suffer through the day.

Heat and cold can also provide fine torture for genital skin, particularly when applied in rapid succession. An article was written on alternatively dipping the scrotum and/or cockhead into glasses of ice water and hot, but not scalding, water. Alternation of an ice cube and a hot mouth can have a similar effect on a cockhead. Chemical heat and cold packs, available from well stocked drug stores can also be used.

For heat alone, hot candle wax is good. The greater the distance the wax is dripped from, the cooler it is on contact. There is also a great difference between small drips and a pour of accumulated melted wax from a votive candle. Coloured candles melt at a higher temperature than plain white ones, as do beeswax candles, which are a lot hotter.

Taking the heat up a notch, the genitals are always a prime target for torture with cigars and cigarettes. Activities can range from scorching pubic hair, through various threatening applications of the burning ember closer and closer to tender skin, to actually inflicting a first degree burn that raises a blister. [Should only be attempted under the strict supervision of an experienced Top guidance.]
Burns that do more than blister skin are not for sane, sane, consensual play – but for real torture and for ritual markings. This is a highly restricted procedure that should only be attempted by a highly experienced Top. Open flame, as from a match or lighter, can be used in the same way as a cigar or cigarette, but it is much harder to control.

Lastly, there is burning with a heated piece of metal. Again, this is a highly restricted procedure that should only be attempted by a highly experienced Top. The genitals do not seem to be an appropriate site for branding, the skin needs to be elastic and scar tissue is not. However, small light metal that does not hold too much heat, or cover much skin, such as a bent paper clip, could be used to temporarily brand genital skin, including the cockhead. And, I like to use an electric wood burning tool (usually connected to a rheostat to control temperature) to threaten a securely bound set of genitals the same way I would use a cigar.

Pinching the skin is a common torture, too often caused unintentionally by hurriedly applied bondage. Intentional pinching might come from the fingers or from clothespins or other clamps which grip a bit of the skin. Since the genital skin is so loosely attached, and so elastic, it is an ideal area for clothespin torture. The smaller and sharper the bite of the clamp, the greater the pain it will cause. The tiny plastic “genital tormentor” clips are particularly vicious. The application of the clamps can be painful, but leaving them on, particularly while frequently manipulating them, can cause agony. But the real torture with clamps comes upon their removal. Again, it is the sensation of pinched nerves waking up and regaining life.

Light whipping can also sting genital skin. My favourite cock whips are made of light leather thongs, horsehair (a fly whisk), soft rubber, and similar materials that will sting the surface but NOT transfer pressure to the interior of the organ. I also like to use a leather slapper for very precise strikes at a firmly held cockhead, and a soft rubber hose, of the sort sold for insulation of air conditioner lines, all over the genitals.

The foreskin, when present, is a rather special piece of skin because it so accessible on both sides. All of the above techniques can be used on it. It is particularly good for clamping. It is also uniquely available for stretching. This could be done by use of clamps and weights to hang from them, insertion of rings around the cockhead under the foreskin, or use of a duck-bill vaginal speculum, often sold in leather shops as an anal dilator.

COCK TORTURE

The cock shaft can take a great deal of punishment when it is flaccid. However, the rigid cock is a rather delicate member. Stretch the flaccid cock out over a bondage table and flog away (obviously “meat” types provide the best target), or tie the balls back and out of the way and let it dangle down while you treat it like a pinata with your hand or a stick or whatever. Squeeze it with your hands, twist it, jerk on it, try to tie it in a knot. I like to use test tube clamps, the kind the wing nuts to tighten them, or other large clamps on the cock shaft. All these are possible with the flaccid cock, but should NEVER be used on a hard cock.

Think of a balloon. Empty or filled with air, it will take a lot of squeezing, stretching and hitting. Fill it with water and punch it, and it bursts. The same with a cock. Empty, it is tough; filled with blood, a corpus callosum can easily rupture. And a ruptured corpus callosum is a serious injury that is difficult to repair.

The corpus spongiosum which makes up the body of the glans is much tougher. It has a much denser structure with smaller openings to fill with blood, and it never becomes quite as firm as the copora callosa. Thus, the erect cockhead can take a great deal more punishment, more safely, than the cock shaft. However, it is small target and you must be quite precise. Clamps on the corona or other parts of the cockhead could be quite painful.

When clamping or beating the penis, either hard or soft, it is best to confine the blows or clamp fingers to the top and sides of the shaft, and avoid putting pressure on the underside of the cock. The urethra runs along this and its lining is tender and could be bruised by blows or a biting clamp. There is unlikely to be serious damage, but why cause any when it is so easily avoidable?

TESTICLE TORTURE

Aside from piercing and electricity, which be considered separately, virtually all forms of testicle torture are variations on the application of pressure. Pressure from striking, pressure from squeezing, pressure from stretching – the nervous systems ability to interpret pressure on the testicles as pure, unmitigated, stomach-churning pain, makes a man’s testicles his Achilles’ heel for torture.
A human hand is a marvellous testicle torture tool – just grab them and squeeze. However, what often happens is that one of the slippery little buggers jumps out of the squeezing grip, shrieking in special pain as it does. This is an “oops” and should not happen.
To prevent it, first situate the nuts at the bottom of the bag, then twist the bag around 180 degrees to a full 360. Then squeeze. Now the nuts are much less likely to escape the torturing hands. Even more efficient is to apply a ball stretcher or winding of cord to trap the balls in the base of the sac before beginning to squeeze.

The pressure can be applied in a continuous fashion, as with a spring clamp; in jolts, as from a fist or truncheon; or in combination. Testicle beating can range from a fist, knee or kick to the crotch [restricted to those very experienced Tops who know how to prevent a serious injury], to the maddening tapping of tightly bound testicles with a pencil. One heavy blow can provide gut wrenching agony that lasts a long time. Repeated light blows can provide a constant level of pain, and the anticipation of increase.

The testicles are somewhat plastic and will respond to pressure from one direction by bulging out in another direction. Thus, for instance, if a clamp is applied, the initial intense pain will gradually lessen as the testicle accommodates to the pressure by expanding elsewhere. There are several ways to minimize this accommodation and keep the pain level intense. One is to frequently increase the pressure. I particularly like clamps with screw or other infinitely adjustable pressure plates. These can be tightened at frequent intervals to keep the pressure on both the balls, and the mind, of the victim. Spring loaded clamps, including those using heavy elastic bands, also keep the pressure on continuously. Moving the clamp around, tapping it with a stick, or jerking on it will also help wake up sleeping nerves.

If the pressure is coming from stretching, usually from dangling weights, the pressure can be varied by swinging the weights, by tapping them with a stick, or otherwise making them vibrate, or by bouncing them.

One of my favourite new toys is an auto body shop dent pulling hammer. This is a rod with a sliding circular weight. Hang it from the balls, raise the weight and let it fall the length of the rod, thudding to a stop at the bottom [NOTE: this procedure should be done by an experienced Top or with the guidance of an experienced Top only!]. When he recovers, do it again. They come in a variety of sizes and weights.

Naturally there are limits to the amount of weight that can be supported by the scrotum. What are those limits? I don’t know, again because I do not know of anyone who has exceeded them. I am certain that a man’s body weight would be too much, particularly if applied with a jerk, as with a fall. However, I do know a man who used to tie a rope around his chest under the arms, pass it up through a ring in the ceiling and then down to his scrotum. He would support himself above the floor, face up by arms and legs, then slowly lift his arms and legs until he hung just by his shoulders and his balls. Once again, this procedure should be done by an experienced Top or with the guidance of an experienced Top only!

This is much more weight than I think most could stand, but he did it. We used to have a ball weight lift contest at Inferno. One year there was a three-way tie for first place with all three finalists lifting 83 pounds. (The only weight we had left was 5 pounds and none of the three could lift 88 pounds.) That was the last year we had the contest because we were afraid that someone would do serious injury trying to lift more. The injury here is probably not to the testicles themselves, but to the spermatic cord and its component parts.

There are probably as many designs for ball crushers as there are mousetraps. According to legend, Nazi interrogators had many variations. The main problems with most designs are keeping the balls correctly positioned between the crusher plates, providing uniform pressure, and positioning the contraption on the body. Various designslike the “Quick Grip” bar clamp do work, but require constant adjustments.

While I love the feel of a man’s scrotum in my hands, I have come to the realization that I can more effectively torture a man’s balls if I wrap them in an elastic bandage. Start by wrapping the neck of the scrotum to form something of a ball stretcher, then wrap the balls themselves. Stretch the bandage as you wrap and its inherent elasticity applies pressure to the balls. This pressure is coming evenly from all sides, so there is no accommodation. It is relenting. The major advantage is that the balls are stabilized inside the scrotum. They can no longer slide over each other or slip away from pressure points. Thus wrapped, I can squeeze with my hands, punch with a fist, beat with a stick or other tool, or clamp with any variety of ball crushers. The bandage keeps everything in a neat and compact package ideal for torture.

The fibrous capsule encasing the testicles is very tough, but it can be ruptured. This is a very serious injury, immensely painful, and generally resulting in the loss of the testicle. The only cases of ruptured testicle I know of were caused by sharp blows which trapped the striking force against a hard surface. The usual cause has been a knee to the crotch catching the testicle between the punishing knee and the owner’s pubic bone. But it could just as well by caused by laying them out on a bondage board and hitting them with a truncheon, or by tightening a crusher too tightly. In the latter case, it is likely the victim would pass out before the ball ruptures.
Tortured testicular tissues can and do swell. A bottom into ball torture should have a good idea of how his balls react to various amounts of punishment and, if there are potential problems here, should communicate these to the Top in advance of a scene. Some heavy bottoms love the feeling of swollen balls for days after a scene, but I would caution them that this should not happen too frequently or there might be permanent damage. And too severe a swelling inside the testicular capsule can cause just as much pain as pressure from the outside, and could even cause rupture.

CBT – Cock and Ball Torture Part 2

URETHRAL INVASION

Most heterosexual men consider the possibility of something inserted up their ass as the greatest invasion of personal privacy, possibly even more than the thought of a knife penetrating skin and muscle. But that is only because they have never even considered the possibility of something being shoved up their dicks. This latter case is probably true of most non-BDSM, bi and homosexual men as well.

Urethral invasion is a head trip, a control scene not a pain scene. In most cases, if it hurts, it is causing damage and should NOT be done. Urethral sounds are surgical steel rods made for probing the urethra. Venereal diseases such as gonorrhea cause wounds in the urethral lining; as they heal, they can adhere to one another so that the sides of the urethra stick together. Sounds are used to force these apart. They come in graduated sizes so that when the smaller one can be inserted, the next larger size is used to further pry apart the tender flesh. It is a painful process.

As a sadist, I would have loved to have been an 18th century physician specialising in this treatment. I can imagine the handsome young rake lying naked on my treatment table as I manhandle the cock he has obviously been shoving into places it should not have been, and watching with trepidation as I shove the steel rod into his piss slit. He would try and bear the pain as I tear open the strictures in his urethra ever so slowly, milking him for all the agony I can produce. Perhaps I will have to use restraints to keep him from moving around too much, or have my burly assistant hold him down.

Fine for fantasy, but this is not a BDSM play scene. Well lubricated sounds should be inserted carefully and slowly, under an experienced Top’s guidance. They should produce a feeling of invasion, of fullness. If you want to gradually increase the size of the sound, this should be done in small increments so that the diameter of the urethra is stretched slowly. There may be feelings of tightness, but the procedure should definitely NOT produce sharp pains or bleeding.

Only catheters and sounds, which have been manufactured for insertion into the human urethra, should be used on one. Only clean or sterile tools and technique should be used. I have seen guys fuck their piss slits with chopsticks dipped in crisco or toothbrush handles lubricated with the toothpaste. THIS IS DANGEROUS! These days antibiotics take care of most cases of gonorrhea and other venereal diseases before urethral strictures can occur. But, abrading the inside of the urethra with a chopstick is another good way to cause strictures. If you’re stupid enough to do it, I volunteer to use the sounds to open you up again!

Catheters are flexible rubber tubes that penetrate to the bladder. They are much easier to insert than sounds. If you are beginning with this area, become competent with catheters first, then move on to a straight sound, and become proficient with it before trying a curved, or Van Buren, sound.

Curved sounds terminate right at the point where the urethra enters the prostate. Many men find it extremely pleasurable to just have a sound in place. This feeling is intensified if the sound is stroked or tapped to set up vibrations. A curved sound should only be inserted into, and removed from, a flaccid penis. An erection can occur while it is place, but it must go down before it is removed.

There is considerable disagreement on the advisability of ejaculation while a sound is in place. Remember that ejaculation occurs with great force and if the way is blocked, you can blow a hole in the piping. Try pissing with a sound in place before you attempt to ejaculate. And only try it while “wearing” a sound several sizes smaller than the largest you can comfortably accommodate.

ELECTROTORTURE

Because of their abundant supply of nerve endings, the genitals are a perfect site for applications of electrical stimulations. Any type of electrical device that can be used on the human body will work well on the genitals.

Violet wands, which apply static electricity, work anywhere on the genitals, particularly on the cockhead. The only precaution here is over-exposure to the light, which can cause the equivalent of sunburn. Since the violet wand works well through clothing, or other coverings, it can be used in conjunction with elastic bandage wrappings.

Relaxacisors, walkmasters, titilators, pleasure boxes, estim and other electrical pulse devices that require two electrodes are ideal for genital stimulation. There are slight variations in the arrangement of the electrodes. The electrodes themselves might be specially constructed, commercially available, cockrings and buttplugs, or may be strips of aluminum foil, copper pot scrubbers and aluminum cigar tubes. Placement, and proper lubrication with an electrolyte are the keys to interesting stimulation.

An electrified cockring in the usual position behind cock and balls can be the basis of many arrangements. The second electrode could be placed just behind the glans, connected to a genital piercing such as a Prince Albert or guiche, or to an anal plug. Cockring to buttplug sends the current through the prostate, something most men find, at certain intensities, extremely pleasurable. At higher intensities, the pleasure turns to screams. To even more precisely target the prostate, use a buttplug as one electrode and a urethral sound as the other. Of course, novices should be closely supervised by an experienced Top.

Most of the electrical sources discussed above can function for electropleasure as well as electrotorture. But the hand crank generator is primarily an electrotorture device. And it is of greatest effectiveness when used on the genitals.

Cattle prods, with an experienced Top’s guidance, and stun guns, applied ONLY by an experienced Top, can be used on the genitals, but these devices are devastatingly painful when used on the buttocks, thighs or other large muscle masses. If applied to the genitals, they can be truly debilitating. I would definitely recommend that the novice to these implements begin with a 3 cell (size) stock prod. If you like this, graduate to larger units (the largest have 7 cells).

PIERCING

With a couple of exceptions, genital piercings are limited to the skin. The exceptions will also be discussed below. The following is in no way a full treatise on piercing and should not be considered adequate instruction for a novice to begin this procedure. It is a discussion of genital piercing, not to be undertaken until a full understanding of piercing basics is firmly in place.

Permanent piercings are inserted and worn as permanent jewelry. The process of insertion may or may not be part of a scene. It is the existence of the permanent piercing that is important. When in place and thoroughly healed, the permanent piercing may, or may not, be a tool for genital torture. It depends upon how manipulation of it is perceived by the wearer. It could be used as a point of bondage attachment, as an electrode attachment, or as an object of other stimulation. If a permanent genital piercing is present, take care to avoid it when whipping. If it is not fully healed, avoid getting things like Ben Gay into the wound.

Most permanent genital piercings only penetrate the skin. A few, such as the Prince Albert, penetrate a small amount of other tissue in addition to the skin. And a few, such as the ampallang, pierce the corpus spongiosum. This is the ONLY part of the genital anatomy, other than the skin, suitable for permanent piercings.

Temporary piercings under an experienced Top’s guidance can be effective on the genitals. The proximity of needles and the genital organs is a heavy head trip, if nothing else. With two exceptions, piercing should penetrate ONLY the skin. They may be placed anywhere through the skin of the shaft of the penis, the foreskin and the scrotum, taking care to locate major blood vessels and to avoid them.
The perfect instrument to use for a temporary or play piercing is a sterile hypodermic needle. Clean technique is a minimum requirement. If the piercings are to be left in place while the Top goes on to other activities, or if the bottom is to be allowed to move around while the piercings are in place, the sharp tip of the needles must be protected. They could be “capped” by placing small sterile corks on the ends of the play piercings, or a butterfly board or other similar device could be used. A butterfly board fits around the cock and balls, can be attached to the body to keep it in place, then the skin of the genitals can be spread and pinned out to it. The board is composed of a double layer of foam core, which holds the needles securely, and a basal layer of masonite which gives rigidity to the whole and prevents needles from passing into the underlying torso.

The shaft of the penis should NEVER be pierced. Breaches to the walls of the corpora callosa are just too dangerous. A pinhole created when the penis was flaccid could stretch to a major breach when the cock is erect. Similarly, a pinhole in an erect cock would, under the hydraulic pressure in the corpora, still result in major bleeding.

However, as with permanent piercings, the cockhead’s corpus spongiosa can be pierced under the close supervision of an experienced Top. Needles can be passed through the cockhead in virtually any direction. When they are removed, there will be significant bleeding, which should be controlled with the usual applications of pressure and cold if necessary.

One other portion of the male genitalia, while not suitable for permanent piercing, can be subjected to temporary piercings. This is the testicles themselves, a highly restrictive procedure attempted only by an experienced Top. The testicles must be completely immobilized in the scrotum, either be spreading on the butterfly board or by other forms of bondage. The scrotal skin must be cleansed and only a sterile hypodermic needle used. The needle should be plunged slowly and steadily directly into the testicle. It should not go far enough to penetrate the opposite side of the testicle.

It is essential that the needle go straight in; it can stay there as long as you wish, and then come straight out. The tiny size of the needle will do only insignificant damage to the glandular tissue of the testicle IF it is not moved about when in place. However, if it is wiggled or manipulated, it will act like a stirring rod and cause a great deal of testicular damage. (AVOID – do not try this under any circumstances!)

Once the needle(s) is(are) withdrawn, the testicle should be subjected to no further manipulation until the wound in the testicular capsule has time to heal.

Amazingly, testicular piercing is not a particularly painful scene. The testicles seem to react almost exclusively to pressure. The bottom feels the needle piercing skin, feels the pressure of the needle point on the testicular capsule, and little else. However, while this is not a pain trip, it is a VERY heavy head trip.

Suturing is another form of temporary piercing play that involves needle and thread instead of pins. Only sterile packed surgical needles, with attached suture, should be used, and both Top and bottom should be thoroughly experienced with play piercing before moving on to sutures.

As to what to suture, sewing closed the foreskin, if one exists, is an obvious possibility. Sewing closed the meatus of the urethra is another. A couple of stitches attaching the foreskin, or the remnants of it, to the belly skin could keep the penis up and out of the way during ball torture. I have also seen some wonderful mock castrations in which the scrotal skin has been stretched up to completely cover the cock and balls, and stitched in place so that the “victim” could walk around with a naked crotch conspicuously lacking cock and balls.

INJECTION & SCROTAL INFLATION

The thought of injecting a foreign substance into the genitals is erotic to many. In heavy torture fiction, and perhaps in REAL heavy torture, acid, alcohol, or other caustic solutions get injected into the testicles and/or cockhead. (AVOID – do not try this under any circumstances!) But for safe, sane play, these activities are absolutely forbidden. Injecting anything, including sterile saline solution into the testicle will cause great pain through increased pressure within the testicular capsule. AND, it will also cause significant, and possibly permanent, damage.

There are also fantasies of injecting silicone, or other substances, into the shaft of the penis to increase its size or rigidity. These are medical procedures that are to be left to physicians. They are NOT subjects for erotic play, other than in fantasy.
However, there is one injection scene that is available for play; scrotal inflation. It’s a highly restrictive activity that should only be attempted by an experienced Top. It should be attempted only by a TOP who is thoroughly familiar with appropriate techniques for piercing and working with sterile fields. Sterile saline solution is injected into the scrotum (NOT the testicles), into the scrotal sac where it surrounds the testicles. The scrotal sac is very elastic and can inflate to the size of a large grapefruit, or even a small football. The bottom receives the sensations of stretching of the scrotal skin, the water pressure bearing down on the trapped testicles, the weight of the full scrotum pulling at the cords, and the difficulty of moving with this swollen “thing” between his legs. If proper technique is used, there is no damage and the scrotum slowly deflates over several days as the sterile saline is absorbed by the body.
