Give Him a Blowjob

The second safe and clean sexual activity (after masturbation) is oral sex or fellatio in academic language. Moreover, oral sex is possible almost anywhere. This is why it’s widely practiced by gay males.

Fellatio is an ancient way to have sex. Its origin is hidden at the dawn of Stone Age. There are various petroglyphs depicting some forms of oral sex. One of the most famous petroglyphs depicted a bear licking an ejaculating penis. Pay the attention: our far ancestors have depicted exactly an ejaculating penis. They meant that any fellatio should end in ejaculation. Well, shoot your small nice spermatozoa!

The Foreplay

Is a foreplay important for oral sex? May a couple easily skip it? Well, a foreplay is very important! There are several reasons not to skip it.

First of all, a full-fledged fellatio requires normally erect dick, no flaccid or semi-erect one. Otherwise the fellatio may be delayed for a pair of hours, nobody needs it, you see. Secondly, male genitalia “construction” requires not only mere frictions for both orgasm and ejaculation. The signal should be sent by the brain; it means that all erogenous zones (or, at least, the majority of them) should be stimulated. These zones may be located in different parts of a man’s body, but all of them require equal attention.
Well, a journey of a thousand li starts with a single step… If you do not know enough the body of your beloved one, you may ask him directly, where these erogenous zones of his are located. But remember that it may be not enough just to touch them according the scheme given. That is why I do offer you to use a quite different method. Here it is:

Try move your hand over his head, touch his hair with your fingertips; move slowly downward along the neck; don’t forget his ears and the areas behind the ears. Use the other hand simultaneously: touch his back and buttocks; return slowly to the chest as if you were exploring a totally new area; move slowly to his abdomen. Try to spread your fingers a bit and bend them a bit too. When you has finished with his strong abdomen, pass by his dick - you have plenty of time, don’t you? You’ll touch this desired organ later… Well, this erogenous zone needn’t to be explored! Go on to the inner sides of his sweet hips. Well, you may continue the exploration of your “America”, but the exploration described is usually enough. It’s very simple to locate the erogenous zones needed: when you are touching there, your beloved one reacts: he may shudder, fade, moan quietly, embrace you tightly or do something even more socking great.

Well, when the most erogenous zones have been found by you, repeat the exploration. But now try to use your lips and tongue. It’s also useful to kiss the zones found, if you use kissing in your sex practices. The main idea of such foreplay is to reach the maximum erection of your beloved’s dick; don’t worry about your own dick - it should erect with no effort. The more pleasure you give to your lover, the more erect is your own penis. Well, the erogenous zones are found, his dick is as upright as a bamboo stem is, and the corpus cavernosus is full of blood just covered with the skin… The foreplay is finished, but the show must go on!

The First Part Of Going On

Lick your lips slowly but with plenty of saliva to ensure the best sliding along the desired shaft. Start with tea-bagging, then kiss and massage the dick’s root with your lips; touch the root with the tip of your tongue, as if you were trying to tickle the shaft. The contact should be slight for the initial time: don’t press and don’t suck too strong. But you are moving upward, the lips pressure is slowly increasing, the tongue should perform a kind of full-fledged massage.

Well, you are near the top, where both lovers should get the maximum pleasure. The top is the glans. Now it resembles an mouth-watering mushroom, covered with thin skin. But in fact it resembles a volcano, and it is ready to erupt. Don’t hurry to put this mushroom into your mouth: don’t hurry to eat it… Use your tongue to touch the point just under the glans; then move upward along the slot on the glans’ downside to reach the glans’ top; and don’t forget to tickle the dick with your tongue. Well, your lover is under your control. He will not try to escape - it’s rather difficult to refuse to orgasm if the orgasm is within reach. Now feel free to do what you want: you may make a tight ring of your lips around the dick, or squeeze the dick with the inner sides of your cheeks, or turn your tongue into something snake-like; you may swallow the dick fully or partially; you may even rest the dick against your tonsils if it doesn’t caused any spasm of your throat. Feel free to do anything, but try to be as tender and gentle as possible. A dick is the organ for the maximum endearment, you see…

The Interlude

Meanwhile… Your hands are now free - all erogenous zones have been already found, the lover’s prostate is ready to move earth and heaven, his testes are ready to shoot from the scrotum. It’s time to stimulate all these organs additionally. Your gentle fingers are running over all these erogenous zones (you needn’t to stroke them for a long time). Catch hold of the scrotum with both your palms, play with it, sway the testes, finger the hairs on the scrotum (if they have not been shaved off by your forward-looking lover). Massage his anus too, but don’t insert deeply through the sphincter. Don’t forget the part of perineum containing both the inner part of penis and the prostate. Stroke the outer sides of his sweet hips, don’t forget to find your hands between them. Do it to make your sex full of pleasure.

The Second Part

Your lover is ready to erupt, this is the matter of several seconds. He is moaning, shuddering, his breath is hurried, just a moment - and then he shoots. It’s time for a tactical move. Stop for a moment, with his nephrite stem in your mouth, but just for a moment. Then caress his dick with doubled force. Use the whole mouth to haft it on the dick, suck the dick with doubled force. Imagine as if you were in the very heart of a desert, you are dying of thirst, and - there is a small berry here with a drop of sweet juice in it. You are trying to suck this juice… Well, you have understood me… Your gentle fingers shouldn’t stop, continue stoke him simultaneously. Then stop… and attack again. Repeat this until he ejaculates. Well, your lover shuddered sharply, he caught your hair or your neck, he is clasping your head to himself, he tries insert into your mouth deeper (control him if you don’t want to choke)… He cries, he wheezes… The thing in your mouth began pulse and… The end.
He has shot, that’s all! What are you going to do with his cum - it all depends on your taste and your safety measures. Some people say that HIV can not be transmitted via oral sex if there is no open wound in the mouth, but other people say the opposite. I don’t know who is right - it’s up to you to decide, you see. People say also that one can ensure his safety with a condom. I don’t know… A blowjob with a condom?.. Well, maybe… But if you trust your lover absolutely, his semen is not the worst thing in the world…

The Conclusion

Well, this is a set of some general ideas to help you to get the pleasure of blowjob.

1. When you are performing any blowjob, don’t accumulate your saliva in your mouth: otherwise the dick will become wet and will not be able to remain erect.

2. If you see that the process tends to be too long - take a pause: no one needs a 3-hours long blowjob, move on to other sex practices.

3. Don’t use your teeth for giving blowjob: if you bite your lover, any sex will become the last thing in the world for both of you.

4. Don’t try to swallow both penis and scrotum: it can take any positive effect very rarely and then only if the prostate is tightly clasped.

5. Don’t try to force things, speed the process up or slow it down. The main thing in a blowjob is general sexual arousal and long full erection with the blood in the corpus cavernosum, but not mechanic effort.

6. If you are not going to swallow the semen, but it is to become your “pearl necklace” - don’t hurry to wash it off in a shower (the semen will simply curdle), but rub it on your skin, let it soak into your skin. You’ll massage your body during the rubbing, and semen itself is excellent cosmetic. You’d better have shower after the end of your sex games.

Good luck! I would be glad if you can find something useful in fellatio. But if you use your wild imagination - then both success and pleasure are guaranteed. When one is playing the flute - both lovers can enjoy the music simultaneously or by turn.

How to give a guy a Blowjob

How to recieve a Blowjob

Some would argue that getting a blowjob requires no effort at all – you just lie back and enjoy yourself – and they’re not far wrong. But if you would like a repeat service, it’s best to think about ways to make the experience a good one for the bloke who’s going down on you too, so here are some tips.

Don’t be afraid to let him know what you’re feeling and what you like. You can let him know how much you’re enjoying yourself by making appropriate grunts and heavy breathing – that way he’ll know what’s driving you crazy with desire, and what just drives you crazy.

Don’t thrust too hard, especially not at first. His mouth and throat will probably take a while to get used to your cock so start gently and respond to the way he reacts to you. If you’re both comfortable you can enjoy the experience for longer.

Most men are going to prefer to suck a cock that’s clean and smells good. Wash carefully, particularly if you have a foreskin.

Having someone suck on your cock carries no real risk of you catching HIV, but it is possible to pick up other infections, such as gonorrhoea or syphilis. Wearing a condom when you get your cock sucked can prevent most of these risks. However, as most men choose not to do this, regular sexual health check-ups will make sure you know about any STIs you may have picked up.

Rimming & Felching

RIMMING

Rimming or anilingus involves using one’s tongue to explore someone’s arse. It can be a form of play by itself or a great technique used as a part of foreplay and to get the arsehole relaxed before introducing fingers, toys or cocks.
If the person rimming is sensitive to shit and body odour, a wash or a shower is a good idea to avoid being put off. Some guys even introduce flavours (honey, chocolate) into this practice to make it a more enjoyable experience. Note that food high on acidity and spices can irritate the lining of the anus and rectum.

Rimming is low risk for getting or passing on HIV or Hepatitis C and B but it requires both exposure to an infected body fluid and damaged tissue for a point of entry. Saliva contains very little of these viruses but blood could pose a risk, say from a cut lip or from razor nicks from shaving around the arse. Abrasions, cuts and inflamed sores in and around the mouth or the anus could be points of entry. Further into the anus, Hepatitis B Virus and HIV can penetrate the intact lining of the rectum and cause infection without needing any damage. If you rinse or gargle with salty water, mouthwash or alcohol and experience any sharp stinging sensations, this is an indication that you may have cuts in your mouth.

When rimming it is easy to pick up other infections such as Herpes, Warts, LGV, Syphilis, Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, Hepatitis A, and Shigella. A dam or a piece of latex from a condom cut along its side can be used to make this practice safer. A vaccine is readily available for Hepatitis A and B from your doctor or sexual health centre - get it! For more information about HIV and STIs

FELTCHING

Feltching is sucking semen out of someone’s arse. If you have mouth ulcers or sores, small cuts, gingivitis or gum disease, there is a possibility of getting HIV if you have cum from an HIV positive partner in your mouth.
Usually, for feltching to happen unprotected anal sex and cumming inside someone has to occur. Anal sex without condoms with guys of unknown HIV status carries the highest risk with regard to getting or passing on HIV. However, in some cases sperm is collected in a condom or in the mouth of a willing participant to then reintroduce it into someone’s arse to play. This exchange of body fluids has a similar risk of infection as unprotected anal intercourse. For more about minimising risks of getting or passing HIV go to Fucking.

Cocksucking

Cocksucking is a very low risk activity in relation to HIV transmission but some other STIs are readily transferred during oral sex.
HIV is a fragile virus and is readily digested and neutralised by enzymes in saliva. Similarly, if HIV in cum is swallowed, acids and digestive enzymes in the stomach destroy the virus. Consequently, in the absence of blood, it is very difficult to get HIV from having your cock sucked or from sucking a guy’s cock. However, extensive bleeding in the mouth can increase the risk to the top.
Damage or inflammation that breaks down the protective barriers in the mouth can greatly increase your risk of getting HIV from semen and pre-cum. Such damage could be caused by:
  •  Ulcers, throat infections, gingivitis and other sores in the mouth;
  •  Flossing or vigorous teeth brushing prior to sex;
  •  Recent dental work;
  •  Recently eating food that cause cuts and abrasions like corn chips or potato chips.

If you rinse or gargle with salty water, mouthwash or alcohol and experience any sharp stinging sensations, this is an indication that you may have cuts in your mouth.

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) other than HIV can be easily transmitted by cocksucking, due to bacteria being present in the cock or throat. It is very important to consider the number of cocksucking partners you have had in determining if you need a sexual health check. If you regularly have sex with lots of different guys then it’s a good idea to be checked every three months.

Tips, tricks, do's & don'ts, etc... on Handballing (Fisting)

As stated in my Tips for the Kurious and Newly Anointed WetHeadz, I am not a porn star or an expert on kinky sex… I enjoy sex as a top and as a bottom… Handballing included. The most satisfying scene for me, of course, is a nice 69 handball-piss-session with another sidepocket, GRR!

Please also keep in mind that while it is commonly referred to as ‘Fisting’ - that this is largely a misnomer. Technically, the hand is open with fingers straight, not clenched in a fist… only experienced players can enjoy a clenched fist.. commonly refered to as “punch-fucking”.

These are only my thoughts, experiences, tips and tricks when it comes to handballing:

MINDSET

If you really want it, then you should be able to take it. This goes for everything from dildos to baseballs to baseball bats to billiard balls to fists… to small convertibles and stretch limos. There are very few men that I know who are physically and/or medically unable to take something up their manhole.

In my opinion any and all anal play, from vanilla fucking to fisting, is largely a mindtrip… There are days when I can't even stand the thought of any insertion of any kind and even a fart bothers me… there are days when anal sex of any kind is all I crave - more more more now now now! ;o)~

Despite the fact that handballing is a physical event, it is mostly a mental trip. It is trusting your Top and letting him know you trust and appreciate him putting his hand inside of you. The physical act of fisting, while intense and addictive, is simply the physical mechanics of the actual mindtrip. It's difficult to explain… if or when I formulate a better way to state this, I’ll let y'all know.

COMFORTABILITY

Do NOT try to force anything up your manhole. If it hurts… slow down or stop. The expansion to take a hand may be an uncomfortable pressure/stretching.. initially, but it shouldn’t cause pain. Start with toys. There is nothing wrong with using progressively larger toys and switching back to a smaller toy if your body isn’t ready to receive the larger toy.

If you don’t have complete trust in the Top to relax your hole at your pace, but most importantly to stop when you say stop - do not attempt this scene. If your Top is not willing to take the time to work your manhole (and it DOES take time…) , then don’t start the scene.

Fisting videos normally only show you the actual fisting because… let’s face it, that’s the hot sex you wanna see! They don’t show the 20 minutes to hour(s) that it takes most bottoms to relax the manhole with toys and work up to a fist. Most of the fisting bottoms in the videos are 'professionals’ - or handballing is their preferred anal pleasure - and they know how to get to that space quickly.
PLEASE do not, as a bottom or a top, take your cues from porn videos and rush into an insertion.

CONCERNS

1. Permanent Stretching - NOT!!! Contrary to urban legend, you don’t remain 'loose’ for the rest of your life and you can't 'break’ your asshole so that it will never tighten up again.

Your body truly is remarkably resilient. Your sphincters do contract back to their original tightness. It is my experience that If anything, you get tighter due to the routine exercises and the rebound effect of stretching your manhole to accommodate a large object. It is all muscle control - learning to control your manhole to accommodate large or small insertions. My former husbear used to tell me to “Clamp down nice and tight on my dick!” and moments later, “Relax your asshole, man, or you’ll cut off my dick!” Then he could turn around and fist me the next time…Then complain that I’m too tight the next time he fucks me, heh heh… I hear the same thing from my current play mates. So, I don’t subscribe to the speculation that fisting ruins and permanently stretches your asshole.

2. Tearing - Yes, you can tear, severely in some cases, if you do not take adequate time to reach the relaxed mental and physical state where a fist can be received. This is why I state that the receiver should never force anything up his manhole. Even after adequate time with progressively larger toys, you can still expect a tad of bleeding if you try to force the situation. Do not let your lust for the feeling to override your common sense.

3. Pain - Any anal play will involve a bit of initial uncomfortableness getting past those sphincters, but not pain. Fisting should not be a painful experience if you take the time to work up to it. Fisting is only an extreme extension of getting fucked… it should be pure mental and physical ecstasy!

TIPS

1. FEAR - All I can say is this; Get over it!

If you want to experience getting fisted, you must get over the 'fear’ of it. It is no different than using a thick dildo and feels infinitely better with a nice warm hand and fingers tickling you from the inside! It took me months before I understood this and was able to let go of that defensive thought.

Getting over your fear of an actual hand inside you??

This largely depends on your Top. You must KNOW that you can trust your Top to go slowly, take care of you, and respect your limit. If he is willing to invest the time then the both of you will enjoy the scene. And trust me when I say that Tops get off on it too… Probably more than the Bottom. As a fisting Top, I have cum without touching my cock just from loosing myself to fisting a man. It is as intense a scene for the Top as it is for the Bottom.

I suggest getting over the fear of and embarrassment of wanting to play Red Hanky and finding an experienced handball Top and let him know that this is something you want to experience… Yes, I stated embarrassment. I was literally ashamed (and shamed) and embarrassed for desiring this sexual act. My desire finally overrode my embarrassment and sense of shame in wanting it. Glad I did too… WOOF! So, ask a Dom or Top that you respect about it.

Sounds silly, but Doms (along with most leatherfolk) take extreme 'play’ very seriously and most will sit and talk with you about it - or if they are not into handballing, they usually know someone who is and can refer you to that Dom or sub. The Dom or sub can tell you the proper way for a Top to relax your manhole and what should give you concerns that the Top is not experienced and could possibly hurt you. Keep in mind that many men into handballing are Sidepockets (versatile). They enjoy giving as much as receiving…

So, don’t be afraid to ask… All they can do is say 'I don't want to talk about it with you.’ If you don’t ask the questions, you won’t know the answers and could get yourself into serious trouble.

The Top that you ask just may be inclined to teach you what you want to know… and work with you on taking a fist. If not, he will probably refer you to someone he trusts to work with you on achieving your goal. Keep in mind that the leather community is a rather close knit bunch and most guys know each other - and they are usually amicable to helping those attracted to the lifestyle.

NOTE: When you do play, make sure that fingernails are trimmed and the edges are filed smooth. Even when wearing vinyl gloves, you will feel the slightest hangnail or rough edge on a fingernail. Hangnails and rough-edged fingernails lead to minute tearing and cutting and spotting (bleeding).

2. Relax - Hmm… notice how I keep pointing this out? If you truly don’t want to experience fisting, then your body won't relax enough for you to achieve this goal. If you really want to get fisted, then it takes a little practice to learn how to relax your manhole. You must work up to taking larger objects in progression.

For those of us into heavier assplay (larger thicker toys, etc…) it helps to understand that taking a fist is basically the same as taking a thick toy. Look at some of the larger dildos that you can take and measure the circumference in comparison to your wrist and folded hand. They are about the same. You can take the toy? Then you can take a fist…

Do not expect to take a fist the first few times… and don't be discouraged if or when you can’t. There are days that I want it so badly and can’t take it… There are days when my manhole sucks that hand inside so fast that it even freaks ME out! LOL.

NOTE: There are many lubricants on the market that are 'designed’ for handballing. All are manufactured lubricants (read: chemicals) and will dry out, get gummy, and can cause chemical irritation. Use whatever lube you use with your toys and anal sex. If you are playing safely and using latex gloves, make sure the lube you are using is compatible with condoms.. Some designer (fisting and anal) lubes are not compatible with latex. Latex gloves, latex condoms = same difference - so don't think you must invest money in designer fisting lubes… Just make sure to have ALOT of your preferred lube on hand - pun intended! LOL

If you are using Crisco or a lube designed for fisting… they are not latex compatible!! So… Get dressed, get in the car, drive to Home Depot, go to the Paint isle, buy a pack of vinyl gloves (in your choice of 5 fashionable colors now), drive home, get naked, and get that man’s hand UP your asshole!! NOW!!! ;o)~

Seriously, whereas latex will dissolve and break in Crisco, Wesson, (which is basically oil) and most lubes, vinyl gloves will not be affected by these products. Vinyl gloves are also a bit thicker and won’t pop or tear as easily as latex gloves.

Personally I prefer the time tested lube… a can of Crisco shortening. Clean up takes longer (Palmolive cuts through it instantly- do not use it internally! LOL), but Crisco is still my fav. It doesn’t dry out or get gritty or sticky.

J-Lube is fantastic for fisting also and can easily be washed off with salted water… And I’ve never found a leather shop that didn’t carry J-Lube.

3. Exercise - Exercise your sphincters… yes, I said sphincters - PLURAL! You have more than one! The outer sphincter and an inner sphincter about 2-3 inches further inside. The outer sphincter (your visible asshole) is the easiest to control and easiest to exercise. The inner sphincter is the one you must learn to control (stretch) using toys and fingers. You or your Top can use progressively larger toys… inserting four fingers, expanding and contracting them inside you (stretching that inner sphincter and letting it relax.) and / or a combination of the both. The added benefit of anal exercising is that not only does it teach you control over those muscles, but it also strengthens those muscles… Like I said, I can clamp my ass down so tight that nothing can get in or I can relax it to the point of taking a hand…

4. THE THUMB WAR - AAACCKKK!!!! - Obviously the most challenging part of getting fisted is… the thumb joint. Many men don’t have flexible enough hands to fold their thumb completely inside their palm and create a circumference comparable to the wrist. This is actually part of the fun, in my opinion! Think of the hand and thumb joint as an asymmetrical (odd-shaped) cock with built in French ticklers!

5. Stimulants - I seriously suggest that a beginner not use stimulants… A couple of beers, cocktails, a glass of wine or champagne is fine… Do not allow yourself to get drunk. Do not toke, pop pills, inject or snort anything. Getting 'wasted’ in any way will impair your judgment and numb your manhole to the point that you won’t enjoy getting fisted or even KNOW if you are being internally damaged.

I also suggest that beginners not use poppers. For most guys, poppers intensify (as is the job of poppers to do, heh heh… ), but the intense physical feeling could make your body unwilling to accept such an extreme insertion. If you must use poppers, use them sparingly. For some men, poppers will temporarily numb and relax the outer sphincter and make insertion past the thumb joint a breeze… And while this is true for me, in my experience, it also makes my inner sphincter tighten up… needless to say that this is not good if I wanna take a hand up my ass!

I can only state - try it and see if that works for you. If it works with your larger toys, then it may help the initial insertion of the hand.
As you all know, I don’t use drugs at all… other than a few social drinks. I don’t even keep liquor or beer in my home. And I rarely use poppers (they cause sinus problems for me). My routine is that I have a couple of Belgian beers (Chimay) to relax my head a bit, then I drink water for the duration of the scene. which works out great for me because I love pissing all over the place while I’m getting fisted SLURP ;o)~

TRICKS

1. Direction of the Insertion - It is easiest to insert and remove a hand vertically… meaning; insert the hand in correlation to your asscrack - in the direction as if shaking hands with someone. Your sphincter will stretch farther vertically than horizontally. This will allow you to take the thumb joint without a problem. Once the hand is inside of you, it feels great to twist it back and forth and around and around ;o)~ but insertion and removal of the hand is best done vertically.

2. PUUUSSSHHHH - My personal trick - Push like you haven't taken a dump in over a week! All the anal exercising and toy play will prepare you to take a hand… but that thumb joint will still pose a problem even if you are uber-hot for a hand in your hole. If you push your bowls like you’ve not shit in a week… at the same time that your Top is sliding his thumb joint inside, it will literally force your asshole open to take it.

The moment that thumb joint slides past your manhole, your ass will instinctively clamp down on the wrist. Not much you can do about that… The physical rush will make your head spin… and the realization that your man’s hand is inside of you will make you wanna faint with joy! TAKE IT SLOW! The best thing to do once you’ve finally gotten that hand inside of you is to concentrate on relaxing your asshole so you and your Top can enjoy the sensations of having his hand inside of you.

Your Top can slowly twist his hand and wiggle his fingers, but don’t have him pull out and try to reinsert his hand until you are used to the feeling and get over your initial (hopefully joyful) shock that you finally took your man’s hand! He probably won’t get his hand back inside of you if you are new to handballing.

The first time you take a hand, you will feel full… and I mean FULL. Your body’s urge is to expel the hand… this is where it is up to your TOP to gently, yet firmly, keep his hand inside of you until your anal spasms calm down a bit… This is why I state, on your first few times, to not have your Top try to pull his hand in and out of your manhole. In most cases, the first few times he is inside of you, he will not be able to get it back in if he pulls it out - your ass will tighten up when he pulls out. I suggest you learn to fist yourself and practice/enjoy taking a hand alone… Sounds difficult, but it’s really not. Or buy an Adonis or The Hand toy and play with that.

They are 100% scale to a hand. The Adonis is smaller (the size of my hand, actually) and would be the toy to try first. Most online 'toy’ stores carry them and depending on the State in which you live, you’re local fetish toy store would probably have them also.

Obviously, I’m limber enough to fist myself without a problem. But you don’t have to be overtly limber to fist yourself if you go about it the right way… heh heh. Please refer to my auto-ff fotos and vid clips and you will understand the easiest positions and most comfortable way to fist yourself.

How do I get into fisting?

One of the questions I get asked most is “how do I get into fisting?”

So, for my very first blog entry, I’m going to give a general and basic overview on the ins-and-outs of trying this exciting and intense form of “rectal recreation”safely and comfortably.

Fisting (also known as handballing) - when done correctly - can be one of the most pleasurable and intimate experiences for both the top and bottom.

It provides the top a chance to touch his bottom partner in ways they’ve likely never been touched before.
And for the bottom it allows the prostate to be stimulated and massaged at a level of intensity not typically experienced with“vanilla” anal sex.

When engaging in fisting for the very first time the most important thing to remember is to GO SLOW.
Fisting is a lot like doing the splits, you have to work at it over a period of time, bit-by-bit.

But once accomplished, it can be extremely pleasurable and satisfying experience for both partners.
But all of this takes time and practice. And safety is of the utmost importance.

Remember: You will be working in one of the most sensitive and delicate areas of the body.
For the top, this means always wearing a glove.

Not only does a latex or Nitrile (non-latex) exam glove protect against STDs, it also smoothes out the exterior surface of your hand to provide added ease and comfort during insertion.

For added safety, the top should file his fingernails down extra short to avoid accidentally piercing the glove and, in turn nicking or tearing soft rectal tissue

For the bottom, this means douching out the lower GI tract so that the area it is free of fecal matter.
You want to be clean and fresh! It may also mean some advance preparations, carefully using butt plugs or dildos to gently stretch the hole so that it can be relaxed and ready to begin being fisted. (We will discuss this further in upcoming entries, so stay tuned!)

For both partners, it means using LOTS and LOTS of extra slippery lubricant such as J-Lube, X-Lube, Crisco, etc …or a combination of lubes, if desired. You can never have too much lube when fisting. Mess = Success!

In fact, the whole process begins with thoroughly lubricating the inside of the bottom’s rectum and all surfaces the top’s gloved hand, including between the fingers.

Once lubricated, the bottom should assume a comfortable position allowing the top to easily access his hole.
This could be doggie style, on your back with legs spread, or laying back in a sling.

Novice tops should progress by inserting one finger at a time, slowly working up to the point where four fingers can be comfortably inserted flatly into the rectum all the way to the base of the fingers.

DON’T RUSH!

Some may reach this point faster than others, so it’s crucial to move at a pace that is pleasurable and never forceful.
Forcing a hand into the rectum can damage or strain the sphincter or rectal walls causing pain and possible injury.
Communication between both partners is vital.

Tell each other verbally what you are feeling every step of the way, including both pleasure and pain.

If something hurts, STOP immediately and assess the situation before deciding to either call it quits for the day, take a short break, or continue on.

During insertion the bottom should concentrate on relaxing their rectal muscles, while the top focuses on using his fingers to massage the inner rectal walls as well as relaxing the contracted sphincter.

After reaching this point, the top can begin to work toward inserting all five fingers by folding the hand so that the thumb is tucked under and between your pointed fingers to form a “duckbill” shape.

From there, slowly and easily begin to slide your well-lubricated duckbilled hand into the well lubricated rectum. Once inside, you will feel your hand naturally begin to form a fist.

Full insertion might not happen the very first time.

Don’t get discouraged.

It may take several attempts. Just be patient and continue to concentrate on relaxing. Let everything happen naturally at your body’s own pace!

Following these steps should start you and your partner off on a safe and pleasurable fisting journey.

This is only the beginning, though.

With patience, practice and communication, you both should eventually reach the point where the top’s hand will easily be accepted completely inside the bottom’s rectum.

As I mentioned before, this may take some time. The important part is for both of you to enjoy the experience together.

5 Fisting Tips

Jiz Lee and Courtney Trouble started International Fisting Day in 2011 after their film, Live Sex Show, was banned and censored because it featured a fisting scene between Lee and Nina Hartley. The day helps spread positive information about fisting, which is banned within a lot of adult entertainment and not particularly familiar beyond it.

In an excellent blog post, Lee writes about why fisting is the type of sexual act that everyone, especially queers, should try:
“Some people think fisting is intense in a bad way — that it hurts. But anyone who loves fisting knows that it can be the most intimate and beautifully connecting experience with a lover. Or a really fun in a three-some — I’ve held the hand, fingers locked, with a lover while the two of us have fisted a friend. I’ve also had both my fists inside two different lovers at the same time, while they kissed intensely. I’ve 69′ed with fisting, and I’ve even fisted myself!
Fisting isn’t any more scary than any kind of unwelcome sexual advance. However many people don’t know that much about it. We learn about sex as only being penis-vagina intercourse. But sex is so much more! We don’t learn much about sexual anatomy, how to communicate with lovers, or about pleasure. In fact, when we see a fist, we may be more inclined to think of it punching someone in the face […] So when we as a culture are more familiar with a fist being used to harm someone, it’s no wonder that someone who hasn’t had a healthy sex-positive education about fisting would assume it is painful. In our culture we see fists as painful weapons, when I see them as revolutionary weapons of sex-positive progress. Or, you know, the ASL symbol for the letter “E”. See? That’s not so scary.”
So what if you want to try fisting but don’t know where to start? Celebrate International Fisting Day by keeping these things in mind

1. The first rule of fisting is, do not not talk about fisting

Talking about sex before you have it in a completely unsexy and therefore less threatening context is really important. The best time to talk about sex is at lunch on a Tuesday, possibly in public and absolutely while fully clothed (unless you’re a nudist). “I would like to put my fist in your vagina (or butt, or your preferred name for either of those places) is not necessarily a great thing to say when you’ve never talked about fisting before and already have part of your hand inside someone.

2. Always be prepared

Learn about fisting before you try it by reading about it or watching it (until October 22, use the code “DB” at CrashPad for 10% off. CrashPad has an excellent fisting archive.)
When you’re ready to go for it, trim your nails, wash your hands and take off any jewellery. If you aren’t fluid bonded with your partner, or if you are fluid bonded but don’t trust the structural integrity of your nail polish, wear gloves — latex, or polyurethane or other latex-free material if either of you have a latex allergy. Make sure you have a truly massive quantity of lube at hand, as well as any other toys you might want, so you can avoid searching for (or getting up to clean) them later.
Then, get ready with a lot of foreplay. The fistee should be as relaxed as possible.

3. Use a ton of lube

Use more lube than you think you’ll need and then some. I recommend a bottle with a dispenser top, both for convenience and because those bottles are bigger. You will be amazed at how much lube you will need. You should use even a little bit more than that.

4. Go slowly

Start with one or two fingers and slowly add more. Do not under any circumstances punch your partner in the vagina. Use more lube. Once you have four fingers in, you can try adding your thumb — this looks either like a shadow puppet duck face, like you’re making a starfish with the tips of your fingers or like you’re reaching to the bottom of a Pringles container. You might not be able to do this, and that’s okay! You really might not be able to do this if it’s your first time. Everyone has different holes and hands and days. If it doesn’t work no matter how much lube you use, try again later in sex or on another day, and stay flexible, relaxed and positive in the moment.
If you do get in, make very subtle motions — anything you do will feel intense to your activity partner. You can try gently opening and closing your fingers a little, twisting your fist from side to side or moving it back and forth very slightly, though if they start to orgasm, stop moving so you don’t break something. ( No, really.) Don’t make big motions unless your partner asks for them.
When you’re done, gently and slowly remove your hand from their body (it helps if all involved body parts are relaxed). If you feel stuck, slip a finger alongside your wrist to break the suction.

5. Keep talking about fisting

Talking about fisting during the act is as important as talking about it before hand. Pay attention to your activity partner’s responses, and to your own. You can probably tell when something feels good and when something doesn’t, but both of you are responsible for saying if it doesn’t and if something needs to change. If you’re the fistee, verbal encouragement always helps.
Also, make sure you talk about your experience afterwards — both immediately, when you can still remember the specifics, and about a week later, just to check in. Fisting is Olympic Level Penetration, and the only way to improve is to talk about it.
And to practice. Because practising is really fun.

Fisting

FISTING & SEXUAL HEALTH

The fist is a potent symbol of masculine strength. Taking one inside can represent an even more powerful act of penetration, domination and surrender than taking a cock. Fisting is a sexual practice that requires skills, preparation intimacy, vulnerability and trust. Fisting fans call it the ultimate sexual experience; a guy being fisted is putting himself in the other man’s hands.

Fisting involves inserting fingers, which are kept pointing straight and close together inside another man’s or your own arse until a hand is inserted. Experienced practitioners might be able to go past the forearm, occasionally up as far as the lower (sigmoid) colon. Others go for width by using feet or even two hands. Once the hand is past the knuckles of the thumb the hand can resemble the form of a fist.
Fisting doesn’t mean clenching your fist into a ball and pushing it into someone’s arse hole. This practice is called Punch Fucking, where a fist is used as a cock would be. Due to the difficulties and potential dangers of doing this it is preferably left to advanced fisters. Piston Fucking or Jackhammering is when one man puts his dick and hand inside the other man’s arse, then wanks himself off inside the guy’s arse. Chariot Racing is when two men are fisted simultaneously by one fister.

GENERAL FISTING TIPS

Because there are no pain receptors past the arsehole, it is recommended to be fully alert during fisting as drugs and alcohol can desensitise you even more. Some fistees report experiencing a little bleeding, also known as a little bit of pink (enough to turn lube pink); this usually suggests a small cut and probably isn’t serious. However if the bleeding is bright, red it is a sign to stop and might be an indication of more serious damage. Other signs of injury are severe cramps, weakness, chills and fever. A sharp pain in the shoulder can be a warning sign of serious damage to the bowel.

If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately. Because the tissue of the rectum is delicate and tears easily, it is possible to have microscopic amounts of blood present during fisting. This blood can carry enoughHepatitis C virus (HCV) to be a transmission risk. The Hepatitis C virus can survive for long periods of time outside the body and the virus is highly contagious, so particular care needs to be taken with gloves and clean lube when fisting. In addition, the presence of the tiniest amount of shit during fisting means that other STIs such as Hepatitis A and Shigella can be passed on too. Take extra care to keep any shit away from the eyes, open sores and the mouth.

The art of fisting is to relax enough so that stretching of the sphincter and anal canal doesn’t involve too much force. Trust + relaxation = safer, more pleasurable fisting.

When it comes to fisting there is no such thing as too much lube. Use plenty of lube not only to minimise the risk of breaking skin, but to get the maximum pleasure out of the experience. Do not share lube with others when fisting and have your own supply.
Avoid contaminating lubricant. Write your name on the container and do not share it. If you are fisting more than one person wash your hands with warm water and plenty of soap in between people. Don’t forget to wash your arms too and make sure you change gloves for each guy you fist.

Water based lubes (e.g. Wet Stuff, Glyde, KY) tend to dry quicker than others, getting gummy and sticky, making them less than ideal in a fisting situation. Since latex gloves break and degrade on contact with oil based lubes (e.g. Crisco, which is the preferred lube for fisting), the solution is to use polyurethane and nitrile (PVC) gloves/ condoms.

The use of gloves is highly recommended to minimise the risk of transmission of HIV and other STIs such as Hepatitis C. Pre-powdered gloves may irritate the arse.

If you decide not to use condoms but want to cut the risk of HIV being passed on, think about fucking first, then fisting. Fisting first is more likely to cause bleeding in the arse, making bare backing afterwards especially risky for passing on or picking up HIV.
If bleeding occurs, note the colour, is it dark or pink, is it dripping rather than bum-snotty clots? Noticeable quantities of bright red blood are a sign to stop. If there is more than a small amount of blood in the stool a few hours after play don’t delay – get medical attention as soon as possible. Be honest about what has happened or you may get all kinds of incorrect or dangerous diagnoses.

FISTING TIPS FOR BOTTOMS

If you are new to fisting, don’t let a beginner experiment on you. Instead put your arse in the hands of an experienced fister. Men, who get fisted, often have an enema beforehand to reduce mess. When it comes to inserting things up your arse, start small and work your way up to bigger toys. Remember, the most sensitive part of your arse is the anus not the rectum.

Practice with large dildos to learn stretching and relaxing. It can take some time to get to the point of being able to take a whole hand up your arse; pushing too hard or fast can cause damage. Breathing deeply helps relax arse muscles and, as with being fucked, pushing out (as if trying to shit), then pulling in with your arse muscles, often helps get the fist through the arse hole.

Some fistees might prefer drugs to relax them for the act - such as poppers or ketamine - but being drugged or drunk increases the risk of injury, as you’re less likely to feel pain or notice something going wrong. Fisting involves pushing your limits, and for some the feeling of a man reaching deep inside them can’t be beaten.

A regular fuck might not be fulfilling enough, especially if you want to feel your ring being stretched and your insides probed like never before. When a man experiences getting fisted and the pleasure that originates from his arse, he doesn’t think about his cock being soft or hard. Even if he plays with it while being fisted, it stays soft unless he has taken an Erectile Dysfunction (ED) drug such as Viagra; his mind focuses on his arse and the feelings inside.

The best position to be fisted in is on hands and knees or on the back with knees up, for example in a sling. It is not ideal to play with someone you don’t trust or know, but if you decide to, make sure you clearly establish limits and safe words.

FISTING TIPS FOR TOPS

To avoid open nicks and cuts on the hands it is best to trim and file nails with an emery board. File fingernails well in advance - preferably a day before to allow small nicks and cuts on the hands to close. To test the sharpness of your fingernails, run them across your tongue; if they feel sharp, smooth them. Check for nicks and cuts on your hands and arms. A sharp stinging sensation when lightly rubbing alcohol on the skin is a clear indication of ‘non visible’ abrasions which can increase the risk of STI/ HIV transmission. Take off your jewellery to reduce the risk of cuts. Allocate enough paper towels per person before you start the session to avoid transmission of any STIs such as Hepatitis C and if you are using conventional terry towels use one per person.

You can never have too much lube. Water-based lube like KY dries out too fast, J-Lube is a good water-based lube. Crisco (a lard-type oil-based cooking fat) is used by many fisters but, like all oil-based lubes, it weakens condoms and latex gloves. A lubed finger is inserted into a well-lubed arse, and then several more fingers follow, adding extra lube each time the hand moves in and out. When the sphincter opens wide enough, the whole hand goes in, with thumb pressed against palm, fingers pointing forward. A clenched fist-shape can usually only be made once in the rectum (the first space past the arse hole) is reached.

Beyond is the entry to the colon (through the sigmoid sphincter) and beyond that the gut. It is important not to rush things and just relax, take your time and have fun. Avoid sudden movements when inside him and always pull out very slowly to avoid injury. When your hand first enters the arse, the sensation is like being fucked by a large cock, but more powerful. Most cocks aren’t wide or long enough to do what a fist can; fill the rectum, prod the far side or go through the lower colon; so taking a hand is much more intense.
The further you go in the arse, the more delicate the internal tissues and lining in the rectal or colon walls become. If his arse clenches, wait for it to relax before pulling out very slowly to avoid injury. Then try gentle in/out movements, without pulling out totally, and changing speed, angle and depth. The fistee’s groaning will let you know whether to pause or press on. Change hands to test different angles if necessary.Fisting, especially if too quick, can tear the lining of the inside of the arse.

Remember: The same lube container shouldn’t be used when several men are being fisted. Blood from one arse (maybe too small to even see) can contaminate the lube and end up going into another guy’s arse. Furthermore, once you started fisting someone, don’t touch anything else apart from his arse and his lube; any surface you touch once you have started (sling chains for example) can potentially become contaminated with the Hepatitis C virus. If it is inevitable to touch other things, discard the gloves if you use any and use a new pair. If you do not use gloves, wash your hands or sanitise them thoroughly.

Enemas and Douching

Anal douches or enemas are used to clean out the rectum and, if extensive, the colon. Liquid, commonly lukewarm water, is introduced using an enema squeeze ball, an enema bag or bottle, or from attachments to bathroom hoses. Douching is used:
  •  as treatment for medical conditions such as constipation;
  •  to administer certain medicinal and alternative health therapies;
  •  to administer recreational drugs;
  •  as a part of foreplay or in BDSM;
  •  to be cleaner when fucking, fisting or general arse play;
  •  just for the sensation of liquid flowing into the rectum.
While douching cleans shit from the rectum, it also flushes out the mucus layers that lubricate and protect the rectal/gut wall. With these protective layers gone, the douche water disrupts the lining of the intestinal walls leaving the rectum more vulnerable to infections such as HIV and other STIs. Water hotter than lukewarm may exacerbate the disruption. Try to ensure the douche temperature doesn’t fluctuate as there are no temperature sensors past the anus or further into the rectum. In addition, liquids other than water may irritate and inflame the lining of the arse even more, making it even easier for infections to enter your system.

The protective barriers of the gut restore themselves relatively rapidly. Plan douching to allow two hours before sex and avoid touch-ups just before or during play.

Daily douching can interfere with the natural function of the bowel, creating a dependency on them or a need for laxatives for bowel function. Probiotics such as Acidophilus – in yoghurt or in capsules from health food stores - restore digestive bacteria to the gut and help to reduce and prevent these symptoms.

Most importantly, use plenty of lube to minimise the risk of cuts and abrasions from inserting nozzles or hoses into the arse. In some cases, due to water pressure, where the taps are not sufficient to regulate pressure (gravity fed hot water with pressure fed cold), you might need a flow regulator to guard against damage to the intestinal walls. Finally, do not share douching equipment or enema solutions with others.

Fisting and Anatomy: Techniques and Exercises

Many of us spend a lot of time keeping in shape, but few of us do anything specifically to strengthen the anogenital region. Doing a few simple exercises on a daily basis is easy. These exercises can be performed while doing other activities, plus you can get a big pay-off in sexual enjoyment, as well as a touchable health benefit in the form of strengthened pelvic region overall. This may aid in the prevention of sexual dysfunction and certain such as prostate cancer.

Kegel Exercises

The late gynecologist Arnold Kegel worked with his patients in the 1950’s to develop a series of exercises to strengthen the PC (and vaginal) muscles. These exercises have become known simply as “Kegels”. There are three exercises you can do, and you can do them almost everywhere, even while bathing, shopping, driving or watching TV.

Kegels are easy to do, they feel good, they don’t take any real time out of your day and best of all they offer touchable sexual benefits.
First, steady practice will enable both men and women to prolong and intensify orgasm and erotic sensations in general.
Second, they can improve general sexual function in men (as well as women). Strengthening the ability to clamp the PC muscles voluntarily is helpful in preventing premature ejaculation and is the key to attaining male multiple orgasms. Kegels can also increase the strength of erections and probably even extend erectile function later in life. Third, they’re an excellent way to tone the pelvic region. Other muscles, including the sphincters, contract along with the PC muscle, which builds strength in the anal region and enables us to more fully enjoy anal play, particularly penetration.

Lax, mushy muscles are not very sensitive, and to require excess tension to do their work. Firm, well-toned, yet relaxed soft muscle tissue in the pelvic region increases sexual sensitivity and responsiveness.

Finally, the exercises are a great stress reliever. You may find that regular practice gives you a more balanced, confident stance in the world. The deep breathing alone will help your entire body feel more open and alive.

Exercise 1:
Inhale deeply as you contract the PC muscles and clench them for a few seconds. The exhale all the way and relax. Do 100 repetitions a day for best results; if thought of so many reps overwhelms you, begin with fewer (40 or 50) and work your way up. You can break them up into 3 or 4 sets and do them throughout the day.

Exercise 2:
Inhale deeply and as you do, clench and release the PC muscles quickly, 8 to 12 times per breath. Then exhale and relax. Do 20 to 50 sets a day.

Exercise3:
Inhale and pretend you’re sucking water into your anus and genitals. Then exhale and bear down pushing out the imaginary water. This is great for your abdominal muscles as well. Do about 10 repetitions at a time, 1 to 3 times a day.
One variation on the exercise is to inhale with a pushing rather than a sucking motion of the anus and other pelvic muscles, followed by the sucking motion before exhaling with complete release.

An interesting note: Some people do develop the ability to suck up water into their rectum using this technique.

Prostate Massage may improve Health

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer found by men and leading cause of death among older men. Increasing evidence shows that men who don’t directly stimulate the prostate (particularly men who practice long-term sexual abstinence) are more vulnerable to prostate cancer and other prostate problems such as prostatitis (inflammation) and benign prostatic hyperplasia ( a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate).

Thus, every man should know how to find his prostate and how to massage it. This is a good example of that preventive medicine that HMO’s (health maintenance organizations) are always touting, although you certainly won’t find many of them discussing prostate massage! Yet prostate massage has been part of Asian medicine for centuries. In traditional Japanese families, wives often massage their husband’s prostate to promote prostatic health, a practice that the spouses and partners of western men with prostate cancer are learning mounting numbers. Actually, it’s easier for a partner to massage the prostate from behind because the angle is better and more of the finger is available.

At this point, the western medical establishment knows little about the mechanics of prostate cancer and much research remains to be done in this area. Thus, it behooves the patient to become better informed than most doctors. Apparently it’s possible for some men to heal their prostate cancer; many books on the subject are available and support groups and other resources can readily be found on the Internet. While many doctors frown on the use of prostate massage alone as cancer treatment, considering it risky in the absence of other medical intervention, anecdotal cases tell of remission following such therapy. Advocates claim that consistent prostate massage improves the muscle tone of the prostate and helps drain the fluids that accumulate in cancer cases. While prostate cancer is very slow to progress (many patients die of other causes), treatment may improve one’s quality of life.

Massaging of the Prostate Gland

Of course, we don’t have to have prostate problems to enjoy the benefits of prostate massage. You can stimulate the prostate directly by placing a finger or dildo into the butt. For this you’ll need your index finger and some form of lubricant, plus a latex glove if you wish. One technique is to lie on your left side and put your right hand behind your back; reserve this if you’re left-handed. It may be easier if you start with the top-most leg bent at the knee, toward the chest and then straighten it after you are inside. Enter your rectum slowly, locate the prostate gland and gently thrust and massage it. Be sure that you’re not pushing too hard or poking at an angle. Exert firm pressure on the upper portion of the prostate and slowly push downward and toward the middle. As the prostate is heart-shaped, it has two lobes. If you can feel them separately, you can massage one lobe and then the other. Otherwise, just apply any pressure that’s not uncomfortable. Some strain on the wrist is normal, however. This tends to be easier to do if you’re slim and flexible.

Here are a couple of alternative or supplementary techniques: Thrust in and out toward the anal sphincter, varying the rate to get maximum stimulation. Or use a vibrator on the sphincter to also stimulate a large number of nerve endings and indirectly stimulate the prostate. Another way to stimulate the prostate indirectly is to press and massage the perineum with your fingers. In Asian medicine, the perineum is an important acupressure point for good prostate health and sexual functioning.

Some men have trouble reaching their prostate or finding a partner to do it for them. For them and for others interested, a device is available to massage the prostate and the perineum simultaneously, named the Pro-state Prostate & Perineal Prostate Massager. (The manufacturer’s website states that “it is helpful to master the Kegel Method and to synchronize breathing,” so doing those exercises clearly pays off here.)

Many men find that applying pressure to the prostate gland increases sexual pleasure and enhances orgasm. Others, however, find any pressure unpleasant no matter what they do (and I am one of them!). And yet other men enjoy prostate stimulation only after they have reached a certain level of sexual arousal. Individual reports of sensation vary widely, from ecstasy to mild pleasure to indifference to discomfort. So it’s very much an individual preference.

The Anus Anatomy

This is the anal canal’s external opening of soft, pinkish tissue folds, which give it a puckered appearance. The anus is located several centimetres below the tailbone and several centimetres above the scrotum, directly behind the perineum. The Anus is rich in blood and vessels and sensitive nerve endings that enjoy stimulation and touch. The area surrounding the opening is populated with follicles; while every adult has hair surrounding the anus, it varies in appearance from fine and downy to thick and dark.

The Anal Sphincters

The anal opening contains two sphincters. Although they’re called internal and external, they are actually somewhat overlapping bands of circular muscle.

The external sphincter is controlled by the central nervous system, which in turn controls all our voluntary muscles; suck those in our hands or legs. Typically, the external sphincter is under control; it’s the muscle you tighten when you want to go to the bathroom but you can’t go immediately.

The internal sphincter, by contrast, is part of the automatic nervous system, which controls reflexive functions such as breathing and blood pressure. With practice, one may learn exert some degree of influence over the action of the internal sphincter. This seems to be the spot that stores up much of the tension and stress in the anal region, which can lead to haemorrhoids and other anal discomfort.
A relaxed sphincter is capable of allowing feces to be expelled, whereas a tense sphincter is capable of excretion only by training, if at all. Likewise, it´s the tense state of the sphincters that makes anal penetration painful and difficult. Whereas relaxed sphincters facilitate pleasurable, pain-free anal penetration. Shortly we´ll explore some techniques for promoting anal relaxation.

The Perineal Muscles
Close to the sphincters are the perineal muscles, which have some relationship to the sphincters. The perineal muscles support the tissue surrounding the anus as well as the area between the genitals and the anus, called the perineum. My favourite spot…
Two specific perineal muscles are important to our purposes.

The first is the “bulbocavernosus” muscle.

In men, it envelops the bulb (not be confused with the head) of the penis, between the scrotum and the anus. This muscle serves to help empty the urethral canal after urination. After ejaculation, you can expel most residual seminal fluid by pressing firmly on the perineum, sliding you finger upward past the scrotum and along the underside of the shaft toward the urethral opening (meatus). You can feel the “bulbocavernosus” muscle by pressing on the approximate centre of your perineum. You may feel a slight twinge, and your penis may jump a little. Most men find some pressure on this point to be pleasurable, while others experience discomfort.

The second important muscle is the “pubococcygeus” muscle, more commonly known as the PC muscle.

This is the same one you use to stop the flow of urine while peeing. You can squeeze it while you´re urinating or by simply pretending to urinate. You can feel the muscle contract by placing your finger on your perineum (the area between your genitals and the anus). Also, you can felt the contractions strongly in your anus. The PC muscle contracts randomly during sexual arousal and rhythmically during orgasm. Learning to control it voluntarily can enhance the quality of sex.

To some degree, all orgasms are anal orgasms. The anal sphincters are connected to the pelvic floor running throughout the pelvis. The anus contracts at the muscles involved in orgasmic contractions.

The PC muscle is part of a flat, supportive muscle system known as the pelvic sling. The pelvic sling anchors to the pubic bone on one side, wraps behind the back of the rectum, and anchors to the other side of the pubic bone. It has two functions: to support the rectum, and to assist us in holding back a bowel movement. While the external sphincter has some influence over this, it’s mainly the job of the pelvic sling. It can become chronically tense, when it contracts, it compresses the rectum. This is possibly a major cause of constipation as well as not being able to enjoy anal penetration. Later we will explain how to get more relaxed and use these muscles in your comfort, which will enhance you anal pleasure.

The Rectum and the Anal Canal…

The rectum is about 20 to 22 centimetres long and opens directly into the anal canal, which is about 3 centimetres long. Because of their flexibility and strength, the anus and the rectum can adapt to a wide range of variously sized and shaped penises, butt plugs, and dildo´s.

A rich and complex network of nerve endings extends all around the anal opening, as well as underneath the head on the penis. Stimulation of these nerve endings is chiefly responsible for the pleasure (or pain) experienced during anal sex: However, the rectum, like the vaginal walls, responds more to pressure than other sensations. Thus, the anal walls are not as surface-sensitive as the anal opening.

Contrary to what everyone believes, the rectum isn´t a straight tube, in most people, it´s S-shaped, meaning that there are two major curves along its length. Running into the rectal wall with a sex toy penis or a fist accounts for much of the internal discomfort felt in anal sex.

Discomfort! Some people report feeling queasy or sore after being anally penetrated. Often, physical discomfort comes from not feeling completely relaxed at the time of intercourse: Most people find that prefer certain positions when being anally penetrated. It´s important that the penis, dildo´s or fist enters and moves at a comfortable angle, otherwise, it runs into the rectal wall, which can cause discomfort, even tearing or bleeding. Like I said before the rectum isn´t a straight tube and that its shape and elasticity vary from person to person. So be careful with insertion until you learn the location of the first rectal curve in your partner. Finger work before starting can help with this.

Farting happens during anal sex. For both parties this can be very uncomfortable, do not think the bottom is doing this on purpose! The best is to be matter-of-fact / cool about this. It´s nearly inevitable for the bottom to fart in some situations, basically, any time air has been pushed up to the butt when inserting toys, cocks or fists. This can happen during the enema. If you´re experiencing discomfort from trapped air, try breathing deeply. Laying on your side or in a position that your ass is higher than your head, crouching on all fours, you can push outwards on the exhalations.

The prostate Gland

An important male sexual organ, the prostate gland produces prostatic fluid, the lubricant that facilitates the ejaculation of sperm. Prostatic fluid is a whitish secretion and give ejaculate its whitish appearance. It collects within the prostate and feeds into the urethra during ejaculation. Prostatic fluid makes up about one-third of the total ejaculate, along with sperm and seminal fluid. It helps sperm to swim and protects them from being damaged by the acidity of urine in the urethra.

The prostate lies below the bladder and just in-front of the rectum. You can find the prostate by placing your index finger all the way into the anus and pressing toward the front of the body along the rectal wall. It should be about 5 to 6 centimetres inside the anus. Rub gently and slowly, as any sudden hitting of the prostate can be painful. In a few men, it will cause spontaneous ejaculation.

This is what can happens during fisting with some guys they think they have to piss and surprise, the come, even without feeling the action. They will look surprised at you and do not know what happened.

A healthy prostate will feel like a lump the size of a small walnut, and the texture is similar to the ball of the muscle at the V of the thumb and index finger when making a fist. The prostate enlarges during arousal, so it´s easier to feel it then. The prostate gland it´s very sensitive to stimulation and can only be directly stimulated internally, that is; by inserting a finger, penis, dildo or sometimes even when the hand is inside of the butt. When you´re highly aroused, in the sustained plateau phase, you can rub it to see if you like the feeling or whether it affects your ejaculation.

Anatomy: the Anus, Colon and P-spot

I know the ass is sensitive, but how many nerve endings are there in the ass?

and are the “good feeling nerves” located in the sphincter or the rectum?

The anus – the anal opening, the anal canal – the first few centimeters inside, and the rectum are all sensitive in different ways, which is why anal stimulation and penatration can be so pleasurable. The external and internal sphincter muscles surround the anal opening. These muscles can work together or independently of each other, and these are the muscles we must learn to relax in order to fulfill comfortable anal penetration.

When we talk about the sphincter and pelvic muscles and how they play a role in anal pleasure, we discuss them less in terms of sensitivity and more in terms of how tone and in shape they are and how tense or relaxed they are. The anus and the outside part of the anal canal are made of the same sensitive soft tissue and this tissue contains the most concentration of nerve endings of all our anal anatomy. In general, this tissue tends to be more sensitive to touch and vibration. The inner part of the anal canal and the rectum are mucous membrane and have a lot less nerve endings; however this tissue is much more sensitive to pressure – like from penetration.
Man and women have nearly identical anorectal anatomy except for one important difference: men have a prostate gland, which can be stimulated directly via anal penetration. The prostate gland surrounds part of a man’s urethra; it’s behind the pubic bone, below the bladder and above the base of the penis. A mass of muscle, glands, and connective tissue, the prostate is about the size and shape of a walnut; it produces ejaculatory fluid that combines with sperm and fluid from the seminal vesicles to create male ejaculate. Men can experience direct prostate stimulation when they are anally penetrated. It can be found by sliding a finger or toy some centimeters inside a man’s ass and aiming toward the front of his body.

While women don’t have a prostate, but they do have a G-spot and can experience indirect of the G-spot stimulation through anal penetration. The G-spot is the urethral sponge which sits around the urethra; to find it, slip a finger inside her vagina a couple of centimeters and toward the front of her body. The G-spot can be stimulated through the front wall of the vagina or indirectly though anal sex.

Know your Arse for better sex

The external sphincter is a muscle that holds the anal canal in shape. It stops you from shitting when you don’t want to and can stop things from getting up your arse too. There are lots of nerves within your external sphincter so it can feel sensations of hot and cold, expansion and touch. This muscle is controlled by the central nervous system, the same system that controls the voluntary movement of our fingers and toes, etc. This means that we are able to learn to tense and relax this muscle at will (most people can clench). The illustration below shows where the external sphincter lies within the arse.

Internal sphincter

The internal sphincter shares the same functions as the external sphincter – to prevent any unwanted entry or exit and to hold the anal canal in shape. This muscle is controlled by the autonomic nervous system, the system responsible for controlling blood pressure, respiration rate and other ‘bodily functions’. This makes it harder, although not impossible, to learn how to control this muscle.

Anal canal

This short tube-like canal is the final passageway in the passing of shit. The area provides some lubricant to ease the passage of the shit. The outer two thirds of the anal canal, the part you can see when you spread a guy’s arse open, is sensitive to touch, temperature and pressure. The inner third – the part that changes from flesh colour to bright reddish pink colour as you spread the arsehole open – is less sensitive to touch, but very sensitive to pressure. The whole of the anal canal is made up of folds of soft smooth tissue that give it a great capacity for expansion. The outer two thirds are made up of the same soft sensitive tissue visible at the opening. The inner third, the reddish pink bit, is a mucous membrane. This absorbs fluids into your bloodstream. If the outer layer of the mucous membrane is disturbed (by douching, dildos, or even just from fucking) it makes the arse more vulnerable to infections like HIV. At the top of the canal are the 'anal sinuses’ that are responsible for producing the snot-like lubricant or anal mucus that occurs naturally in your arse. Research indicates that anal mucus is the body fluid that can have the highest concentration of HIV. The illustration below shows where the anal canal is inside your arse.

Anal pillows

There are three anal pillows attached to the internal sphincter muscle which run the short length of the anal canal. The anal pillows inflate with blood to prevent shit from coming out of your arse, when you don’t want it to, and to prevent things going up your arse too. They need to partially drain to allow you to shit (or allow anything in). They do this by responding to signals transmitted from the brain. You can feel sharp stabbing pains when the pillows aren’t drained and you are trying to shit (especially if you strain too hard) or get fucked (or stick something up your arse). The veins that supply the blood to the pillows are the ones that can become piles, which are also known as haemorrhoids. It’s these pillows that place large quantities of blood in your arse and account for the blood found during or following anal sex. It’s this blood you can see on toilet tissue after you have been fucked or passed a particularly large or hard stool. The anal pillows are shown in the illustration below.

Rectum

This is the last section of the intestines which, along with the colon above it, absorbs excess water from your shit. The further away from your stomach the waste matter in your intestines is, the drier it gets. When you have diarrhoea and you pass watery shit, this is because your body shuts down the absorbing function in response to the infection it thinks is in the contents of your bowels or the water. The rectum only contains shit when your bowel is full. So a good dump before you get fucked should be all you need to do to be clean up there and significantly reduce the chances of some unpleasant mess. This part of your arse is like a sponge as it is so absorbent. When a man ejaculates (cums) inside the rectum, the semen is absorbed directly through the wall of the rectum so that any virus in his cum, such as HIV, has an easy route into the bloodstream. Research suggests that there are some differences in the cells that make up the lining of the rectum compared with those that line the anal canal. These differences make it easier for the lining of the rectum to be disturbed or damaged and so it may be more susceptible to infections.

The rectum contains relatively few nerve endings and is therefore less sensitive. In general it transmits mostly sensations of pressure. As it is the continuation of the anal canal, the rectum is another tube-like structure of between five and nine inches long, made of loose folds of soft smooth tissue. It’s worth remembering that the average length of a British cock when erect is between five and six inches, so most cocks only get as far as your rectum. Normally the rectum is more open and spacious than the anal canal, but also shares its capacity for expansion.

While the rectum is tube-like, it’s not a straight tube. Instead it has two curves along its length. The lower rectum tilts forwards towards the navel (caused by the pubo-rectal sling), and after a few inches, curves in the opposite direction towards the backbone. The second curve is usually more 'adaptable’ than the first and rarely a source of discomfort. The pressure sensation in here when shit is present sends the message to your brain that you need to empty your bowels, which is why having a cock up there can make you feel like you need a shit. When you have a cock or a toy in your rectum and you feel like you need to shit, try reminding yourself that your brain is getting this message because your arse is full of cock.

Chemicals or spermicidal lubricants, such as nonoxynol-9, easily irritate the lining of the rectum [3]. This can cause chafing where the lining of the rectum dries up and starts to peel, similar to the way your skin peels after sunburn, causing it to become itchy and very unpleasant. This can remove layers of cells from the lining of your arse making it more vulnerable to infection. In the illustration below you can see where the rectum is inside the arse.

Rectal muscle coat

These are the muscles that support the entire length of the rectum. They tighten in stages along the length to move shit through the rectum and out into the world. This process of muscle contractions used to propel the shit down is called peristalsis. That’s the same process that snakes use to propel their food through their bodies – muscles constrict and expand to push food down through the intestines.

The only sensations that the rectal muscle coat responds to are pressure and bulk. Some men say they can feel it when a man cums inside their arse, but physiologically that’s not possible. It’s probably the cock spasms as the man ejaculates that they can feel against the sphincter, or the cum as it dribbles out of the arse across the sphincters, which are responsive to temperature, touch and movement.
The tension level of these muscles varies from person to person. Rectal muscles are not as powerful as the anal sphincters, but if they are tense the insertion of anything can be painful. The rectal muscle coat is marked in the illustration below.

Pubo-rectal sling

This is a strong supportive muscle that creates the first curve in the rectum. It’s one of the most powerful muscles in the body after the tongue. The muscle responds to pressure or poking by clamping down to close the rectum and this can prove painful when getting fucked, fingered or toyed with. It’s when a cock stabs this that you get that 'whoa get the fuck out of me’ sensation. Straightening out the rectum a bit by adopting a position where the knees are drawn up will help avoid this. Try squatting down over the cock, lying on your back or your side with your knees drawn up to your chest, or on your knees bringing your chest as close to the bed/floor as you can. You can see the pubo-rectal sling in the illustration below.

Prostate gland

The prostate gland produces fluids that are added to cum and, because it surrounds the urethra, it also helps control the flow of piss. A lot of the pleasure we can feel when getting fucked comes from the cock rubbing against the prostate, and for this reason it is often referred to as the male g-spot. Here’s how to find your partner’s prostate:

Get your man to lie on his back with his legs drawn right up, his knees held to his chest. Lubricate his arse, and then insert a well-lubricated middle finger into the arsehole. As the finger goes in, curl it up so that the tip of the finger is hooking up and pointing behind the pelvis towards the cock. The prostate is there about an inch and a half in. It feels warm, rubbery and smooth. Flick or run the tip of your finger crossways against the prostate. This usually gives the owner sensations of intense pleasure. You can see the prostate glad position in the illustration below.

Stigmoid colon/anal fold

This is the collection place for shit before it passes through the rectum into the anal canal and on into the world. The nerve endings here are similar to those in the rectum, responding only to sensations of pressure. It’s also able to expand to larger than its normal size. When a cock, or something similar, is put up your arse, usually only the anal canal and the rectum are involved. However dicks, dildos or anything longer than nine or ten inches may pass through the rectum into the lower colon. This usually occurs without difficulty, as the muscles tend to relax at the same time as the other anal and rectal muscles. The stigmoid colon/anal fold can be seen in the following illustration.
