Curved Penis
You know, nobody’s perfect. As much as we would like to think that our bodies are balanced and symmetrical, we all have one foot bigger than the other, one leg longer than the other, one ear lower than the other, and our hair tend to grow in funny whorls. So it is no surprise that our genitalia are also not exactly even. As far as penises go, when erect, they all have some degree of curvature, but it is much more pronounced in some men than others.Naturally, an erect penis may have a slight curve because of the different chambers that make up the penis. There is one corpus spongiosum, that surrounds the urethra and is found on the underside of the penis up to and including the glans (head). Then there are two corpus cavernosa on the left and the right side of the top of the penis (at a position parallel to the ground). If either of these two chambers are longer than the other, then an erection may bend slightly to the left or to the right. If the two corpus cavernosa are shorter than the corpus spongiusum below the glans, the erection may bend slightly upwards.
Usually, a slight curvature of the penis on erection is normal and to be expected. It may be simply from anatomical development, or years of placing the penis on one side or the other in your underwear. Just the simple act of adjusting it to one side several times a day may gently stretch the connective tissue of the penis so that one side is longer than the other. Normally, a gentle curve does not cause any difficulties or interfere with sexual activity. Some men, however, experience a much more dramatic curvature that can be problematic. Such is the case with Peyronie’s Disease.
Peyronie’s Disease is a condition that forms in the penis as a result of increased scar tissue that forms on the tunica albuginea (connective tissue) on one side of the penis. Because this scar is not elastic like the other connective tissue found in the penis, it stays the same length while other tissues in the penis expand during an erection. Because the scar tissue stays the same length, the rest of the erection needs to bend around it, forming a very pronounced curve. Sometimes the angle of curvature is so severe that it becomes difficult just to have penetration. Other men experience pain with an erection, and some find it difficult to keep an erection because they have venous leakage due to poor tension when the start to get an erection.
It is believed that Peyronie’s can develop in a man in response to trauma to the penis, or even microtrauma with miniscule tears of the tunica albuginea (the connective tissues that surround the erectile tissue). In an attempts to heal this trauma/microtrauma, the body lays down scar tissue to seal it up. Often, there is nothing out of the ordinary that a man has done to cause this, and it may be that some men are more genetically predisposed to this scar tissue formation than others, as evidenced by the fact that up to 20% of these men have scar tissue development in other parts of their body as well. In Peyronie’s, there is an active phase of the disease when the body is actively forming more scar tissue, and an inactive phase where the scar tissue is relatively stable. Sometimes, a man may have scar tissue formation that improves on its own without treatment, but other times, treatment is required to resolve this.
If a man does develop Peyronie’s Disease, there are a few treatment options. Since there can be resolution of the plaque on its own, treatment is recommended to be done during the inactive phase of the disease. There are medication options that may reduce the scar tissue, such as Vitamin E or other medications taken orally. Other medications that help dissolve the scar plaque can be injected directly into the plaque to try to break down the scar tissue itself. If medications have not improved a severe curvature, there are several surgical techniques that a urologist could try. Normally, medications are tried for at least a year before taking a more invasive approach. Studies have also found that use of mechanical penile extenders can also help some men, but these can be uncomfortable and are usually worn for 5 hours or more per day for 6 months to a year. This method stretches the scar tissue over time, but should be done carefully and under the supervision of an urologist to ensure there is no repeated injury to the penis and more scar formation.

How To Straighten A Curved Penis (Dick)
Everyone’s man would agree to the fact that a curved penis can be a highly intimidating issue. Due to its wide occurrence, many men are victimized by this abnormality. Although it’s not the fatal sorts, it causes trouble in one’s sexual activity.Factors Responsible For Curved Penis (Dick)
What are the factors responsible for a curved penis? Well, it is a highly controversial matter. But the most broadly accepted reason is Genes. A curved penis is more often than not a genetic dysfunction that hits when puberty takes in.Traumatic incidents are considered to be a reason too, besides accidents and depression. The least accepted factor is STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). It is very unlikely for a penis to get curved post an intercourse.
How To Straighten A Curved Penis (Dick)
A curved penis is not an incurable problem. However, you cannot expect it to get mended on its own, without you having to work hard. With the advent of scientific evolution, curing it has become a cakewalk. Whether exercising or medicines, all the treatments include persistent backward pressure on the penis.1) Exercising
Penis Straightening Exercises are the best way to treat this condition and save you a buck! They give you long term effects, albeit demand a lot of time and patience. People across the globe have reported benefiting from these exercises, although the process required a couple of months. The process is very simple. You need to hold your penis and apply pressure in the opposite direction. The pressure needs to be mild (initially), but consistent. The amateurs should make sure they don’t press too hard, as there have been cases of injuries.
You just need to be patient and keep it in this position for a few minutes. You will be amazed to see the results if you practice these exercises regularly on a daily basis. No wonder this method tests even your temper, but gives long-term results.
However, those seeking a faster remedy have another option. Let’s check out what it is!
2) Devices and Instruments
Penis straighteners are the devices which provide better after-effects with lesser pressure, as compared to exercises. Notwithstanding, you need to use them continually for a few hours to fetch the best results.Penis straighteners accentuate the treatment process without roping in any manual labor or accidental repercussions. As a matter of fact, they were first used by physicians, who testified to their potency.
Initially, these devices would have cost you a fortune! But with an expanding industry and rising number of manufacturers competing to gain maximum market share, their rates have depreciated by leaps and bounds. A basic Penis Straightening Instrument starts from $150.
But it is advisable to go for the add-ons offered, which not only provide you more comfort and better results but also give you a bang for your buck. You can easily purchase them within $300. Don’t think it’s too much.
After all, the money will help you get your dignity back! Yes! Not only do these devices help you with straightening your penis but also develop an extra length and girth. A total icing on the cake!

How to fix a curved penis 101
Here’s some exercises that will help with fixing a curve:1. Penis extender. I have not tried penis extending, but heard many reviews about this. I would rate this as the best way to straighten the penis solely on the fact that it’s a ‘bonus’ from extending.
2. Modified tunica tugs. Here’s a quick run down on how to do these. Do a normal tunica tug and stretch the penis away from the curve, causing stress on the side with the curve. For example, if your penis curves to the left. Do a tunica tug, and bend it to the right. **Have atleast 3 months of prior PE before attempting these**
3. Erect bend edging. This has corrected my curve (along with the modified tunica tugs) the best for me. First, start edging, and when you feel comfortable, start applying little pressure away from your curve. DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH PRESSURE! This should be a LIGHT bend away from the curve. **Have atleast 3 months of prior PE before attempting these**
4. Flaccid Bends. These are a good intermediate exercise to do if you want girth and want to fix a curve. TIP: Don’t flaccid bend towards your curve. Do every direction but the way your penis curves.
5. Erect Bends. This is an ADVANCED exercise to fix a curve + girth. TIP: Don’t erect bend towards your curve. Do every direction but the way your penis curves. **Have atleast 3 months of prior PE before attempting these**
6. Penis pumps. I haven’t had experience with a pump, but it is likely to straighten out the penis, while giving you girth.
If you are just beginning PE, and one of your main goals is to fix a curve, you obviously shouldn’t do exercises 2-5 listed above. And if you don’t have an extender or a pump, here are some beginner ways to fix a curve.
1. When you do your stretches, eliminate or lessen the time of the stretch in the direction of your curve. For example, if your penis curves to the left, instead of doing 30 seconds in the left direction, do 15 seconds, and add the 15 seconds you took out for the opposite direction. So this would leave you with 15 seconds to the left, and 45 seconds to the right, causing more stress/stretching to the left side of the penis
2. Here’s one of the most commonly used tricks to fix a curve. When doing your jelqs, jelq away from your curve. For example, if your penis curves to the left, jelq to the right after every 2-3 jelqs. This will stretch the left side of the penis more, causing it to straighten out. For V-jelqs, I would eliminate all jelqs to the left (or whichever way your penis curves). So instead of doing left, straight, right, do straight and right only.

A Curved Penis Can Become Straight Once Again!
Have you noticed your penis has started to curve off to the side or maybe up or even down lately? Are you worried it could be something serious? It might be a natural development, but it could be a disease.

Why Is Your Penis Curved?
There are two things that cause your penis to curve and you can diagnose it – go and check your dick right now at the point where it is curved.- If there is a lump of tissue (otherwise known as plaque) at the curvature point, there’s a pretty good chance that what you have is called Peyronies Disease. It’s not something that’s going to kill you, but any lump should be first examined by a doctor.
- If you don’t have a lump or build-up of plaque it is a naturally occurring curvature. This is good as it won’t get worse over the time but is still uncomfortable and can make your sex life difficult and embarrassing.
Can You Make It Straight?
Here’s some good news right off the bat: almost all cases of a penis curvature are not a life threatening situation. If you’ve got a lot of pain with your curvature, then absolutely go see your doctor, thought. If your discomfort is mild or there isn’t any pain associated with the problem, then it’s time to begin finding ways to fix it easy at home!
Why Should You Straighten Your Curved Penis ASAP?
Because it impacts your sex life more than you might think. It is not only that sex can be difficult because of your penis curvature
See, the penis-size-matters debate is endless, but all we agree that a straight dick looks better than a banana one, right?
How To Straighten Your Penis?
Traction!You must apply traction.
You need a traction device.
Forget that they say you can change your penis curve by simply wearing tighter briefs and changing the way you sit in underwear. This not only won’t help but it can harm your testicles and reduce your sperm count, not to mention the erection problems this can cause for you.
Stretching the penis with hands won’t work either and surgery is something I don’t even want to mention here.

Your Curved Penis is Easy to Straighten
Your curved penis is really quite simple to straighten. At least if you are like 99.99% of men who have one. It just takes some time, persistence, and the right instrument.Your erection may curve up, down, sideways, or in a combination of all directions. It doesn’t matter. They can all be fixed the same way 99.99% of the time.
Understanding Your Personal Situation
A bend in an erection and a simple curvature are often referred to as the same thing. But a “bend” is usually the term used for a very severe curvature.A bend also usually involves scar tissue inside the shaft (on one or more of the chambers that fill with blood to cause your erections). This condition is known as Peyronies Disease. A simple curvature almost never has scar tissue.
If a simple curvature is what you have, you are on easy street.
Even with Peyronies Disease (a majorly big bending), your condition can usually be completely resolved without surgery in the same way a simple curved penis is straightened. But, because of the more severe curve in Peyronies Disease, straightening takes a longer period of time.
The Simple Curved Penis
A simple penis curvature can be the result of minor scar tissue, genetics, or a constant pulling in a specific direction (as from masturbation, positioning, or constrictive clothing).A mild curve, that does not interfere with sexual function, is really not a problem. There is no reason to be concerned with it.
However, if a curved penis causes self esteem problems or embarrassment in the bedroom, it could well be worth it to you to take the time and necessary action to straighten it. The remedy for a curved penis is very simple and easy.
Unlike expensive, unnecessary, and potentially dangerous penile surgeries, you can get the best medically approved curved penis straightener for under $300. It is all you will need to do the job safely and correctly.
Why Only Your Erections Are Curving
You have probably noticed your shaft usually only takes it’s curve when you have an erection.
This is because:
- The part of the shaft that is causing the curve has less skin than the rest of the shaft.
- There is scar tissue on or in the shaft. (which does not stretch as well as normal skin)
- Part of the skin on the opposite side of the curve has been stretched out. (from constrictive clothing, constant positioning, or pulling)
Do I Need Surgery?
Surgery is really never necessary for straightening a curved penis. In fact it is a really stupid choice when you consider the possible horrible side effects. I truly believe surgery should only be used when there is no other effective option.Surgery would be the lazy or uninformed man’s way. And, for a simple, easily correctable curved penis, it is pure insanity.
First, this type of penile surgery usually costs about $9,000 - $15,000!
And worse, penile surgery carries many possible risks including but not limited to:
- Pain,
- Impotence,
- Loss of Sensation,
- Inability to Achieve or Maintain a Complete Erection,
- Inability to Achieve Orgasm,
- Scarring (which could cause penis curving at a later time).
Is it really worth the risk??
With correctly applied traction you risk none of that. The Safest, Most Effective, Medically Recommended Method
To straighten a curved penis all you have to do is stretch the shorter skin to equal the longer skin on the other side(s). Or, add enough new skin cells to the shortened area(s). It’s that simple. Really.
But how do you do that?
Correct traction is the safest and most efficient way to accomplish either of these goals.Correct traction has been used effectively for thousands of years in Africa. Mostly for increasing penile size. It was done by hanging increasingly heavy stones (weights) from the shaft for many hours each day.
You can actually buy similar weighted devices today.
However, most men do not have hours a day to sit naked with weights hanging from their rod. Nor would they want to. And, it can be very dangerous if done with too much enthusiasm.
Modern correct traction, done with a high quality traction device, is now medically recommended and medically endorsed in 29 countries worldwide.
How and Why Traction Works So Well
What traction does for an erection that curves, is it gradually elongates the comparatively short tissues of the shaft until they are as long as the ones that currently stretch more fully. Then on erection they will stretch equally and the erection will be straight.
What actually happens with sufficient traction is this: during the measured pulling, microscopic breaks or tears occur between cells where the tissue is short. It is not at all painful if done correctly.
The body then adds new cells to the broken areas to repair the breaks. The tissue becomes a little tiny bit longer each day.
Repeat this process over and over again and you can even out the tissue all the way around and have a beautiful straight erection again.
Perfectly straight? Maybe not. But, nice and straight. Yes!
If done too aggressively, any type of pulling can cause pain and other damage to your shaft or crown. So be patient and work slowly and gradually.
Penis Enlargement is Also Possible
Once your erections are straight again, if you continue the traction process, you can actually add as much as 1 to 1 ½ inches to the length of a normal cock! You will also normally get added girth. But, all that elongation can take a year or two.Straightening the curve is much simpler and requires less time. Usually months to a year.
Today we have really well designed traction devices available to men who wish to straighten a curved penis easily and SAFELY.
Which Traction Devices are Most Effective AND Safest
There are many available penile traction devices on the market today. They work so well that they are usually sold as “extenders”. Or, “enlargers”. But, make no mistake, there is no better device available anywhere for straightening a curved penis.
However, you want to be sure to get a high quality one.
You want one that is medically proven and dependable. You don’t want to cause more damage to your your cock. If you try to save $50 or $100 dollars on a “cheaper” model you may very well injure yourself permanently and irreparably.
I have researched the 23 penile traction devices I found available.
There were only two that met all my requirements for quality. These two units are well made, easy to use, medically approved, and guaranteed by the manufacturers. These are the X4Labs and Quick Extender Pro. Both are excellent and I think the best available on the market.
When used correctly, either one should solve 99% of all curved penis or even Peyronies Disease problems safely and easily.
These devices can be worn comfortably and un-noticeably under most clothing. And, they will not interfere with your daily routine.
Making the Process Work
Remember, this is a gradual process. You have to allow time for the process to work.Normally it takes about 6 months to a year (in more extreme cases) to straighten a curved penis with this method. If you rush you can cause damage. If you work slowly and steadily the whole process should be quite painless. And, the results are permanent!
The units I mentioned also come with a 6 month money back guarantee. So you don’t have to worry about your purchase.
This is the key to success: Be patient and persistent.
There is no need for you to suffer from the mental anguish or embarrassment of your curved penis any longer. And now you know how to fix it! Safely, easily, inexpensively, and permanently!

BENT PENIS FAQS
Peyronie’s disease is a condition where your penis becomes more bent than usual. Why is my erect penis bent?
Every penis is bit bent and a slight bend upwards is not just normal but desirable. You may have a problem if your penis is bent to the left or right so much as to make it difficult or even painful to enter your partner during sex. It could be condition called Peyronie’s. This is not an Italian beer. Bent willies are very common and generally do not cause any problem with intercourse. It’s a matter of finding what fits, so to speak. If the 'bend’ is particularly bad, surgery can improve matters.
What is Peyronie’s disease?
A condition in which the penis becomes curved during an erection. What are the main symptoms?
- Hard lumps, known as plaques, form in the fibrous erectile tissue of the penis.
- A plaque usually forms on the top of the shaft, causing the penis to bend upward.
- A plaque on the underside causes it to bend downward.
- If the plaque develops on both the top and the underside of the penis this can lead to indentation and shortening of the penis.
- The thickened area may be painful when the penis is erect.
- It can be difficult to get an erection (the plaques may obstruct blood flow in the penis). The anxiety caused by Peyronie’s disease can also impair sexual performance and be a psychological cause of impotence.
- The pain and the bending of the penis may physically prevent sexual intercourse.
What’s the risk?
There is no firm evidence on the number of men with Peyronie’s Disease but it is thought to affect 1 to 9% of men.- Men aged 50—60 are most at risk, although the disease occurs in younger and older men.
- There is some evidence of a familial link to Peyronie’s disease — a man with relatives affected by the condition is more vulnerable to developing it.
What causes it?
Doctors are not entirely certain what causes Peyronie’s disease. Many experts believe it is the result of damage to the penis, causing internal bleeding. There is some evidence that the elasticity of the penile tissues is reduced in older men and that minor damage may occur (without any obvious outward signs) during sexual intercourse. Some cases may be caused simply by turning over in bed while asleep with a nocturnal erection. In mild cases the plaque does not advance beyond an initial inflammatory stage, but in severe cases tough fibrous tissue develops and calcium deposits may even build up.
While injury may cause some cases of Peyronie’s disease, most cases develop slowly and after no apparent trauma.
Severe hypospadias, where the opening of the urethra is on the wrong part of the penis, can also cause curvature of the penis. This condition is different from Peyronie’s disease, however.
How can I prevent it?
You can’t, except perhaps by avoiding sexual acts which might damage or over-stretch the penis.Should I see a doctor?
If you notice lumps in your penis, you should go straight to your GP. There is no need to worry about having an examination: it may be embarrassing, but doctors are very familiar with Peyronie’s disease. They can also rule out any other possible causes. If you have only had the problem for a short time the doctor may ask you to come back in a month or so if the problem persists. But if you are in pain, or if the condition is affecting your sex life and relationship, insist on a referral to a consultant or to another GP with a special interest in sexual problems. There are also special NHS clinics to treat male sexual problems.
How is it diagnosed?
You will need to have a physical examination. No medical tests are usually necessary. What are the main treatments?
Surgery is the only treatment known to be effective. However, many men with Peyronie’s disease need no treatment, because in its mild form the condition heals by itself in 6—15 months. Many doctors therefore suggest that men wait one to two years before having surgery. At the end of this period there may be a residual curvature of the penis but, if intercourse is possible without pain, no further treatment is usually required.Prior to surgery some men try other treatments, as listed below, but their effectiveness is unproven.
- Your doctor can prescribe vitamin E tablets or potassium aminobenzoate, known as Potaba. Some improvement has been reported but their effectiveness remains unproven.
- The affected area may be injected with steroids or other chemical agents to attack the build-up of plaques. This can reduce pain, but steroids such as cortisone have led to unpleasant side-effects, including the wasting or death of healthy tissues.
- Radiation therapy has also been used. This can also reduce pain but appears to have no effect on the plaques and can also cause unpleasant side-effects.
- In the early stages of the disease the drug tamoxifen has been shown to reduce the build-up of plaques. However, the drug is usually given to treat breast cancer and is not licensed for the treatment of Peyronie’s disease.
Surgery
About 10% of men have surgery. It’s not usually considered unless you have been affected for a year and have difficulties performing sexual intercourse. There are three operations available:
- Removal of the plaque and grafting with a patch of tissue. This can lead to erection problems, particularly loss of rigidity.
- Removal of tissue from the side of the penis opposite the plaque to cancel out the bend. This is known as the Nesbit procedure. After the operation the erect penis will be straight, but there may be some shortening of the erect penis.
- A device can be implanted in the penis to increase its rigidity. This may be combined with incisions and skin grafts if the penis is still not straight. This procedure is usually only required if there is softness (flaccidity) of the end of the penis (the glans penis) during erection.
How can I help myself?
If the disease is affecting your sex life this may in turn damage your self-esteem and perhaps cause depression. It could also affect your relationship with a partner. You may find it helpful to talk your feelings through with your partner or with a counsellor experienced in sexual problems. What’s the outlook?
Many men with Peyronie’s disease will only be mildly affected and the condition will disappear with time. In severe cases surgery can correct the problem but you may be left with a shorter penis or it may not be as hard when erect. Although this may not prevent you from having sex it may still cause some anxiety. Counselling and discussing the situation with your partner can help.www.menshealthforum.org.uk/bent-penis-faqs
